I love this song. The lyrics are excellent and I think it is underrated on the album cause it’s all clean vocals and the lack of heavy distorted guitar tones. As you noted the heaviness never came and I don’t necessarily think every song needs a “drop” or drastic change if it is good song and emotional
This song plants than yin&yang balance on this album, as this song goes into Immolation of Night which is definitely their heaviest. Their last album has a similar balance with the songs "Heaven,Alone", into "Monarch". Hope to see you check out Greyview and if you do, shoot for in order of the tracklist. It hits better that way 🤘🏼
