I got my license to provide psychotherapy in 1982 and through this lens I was very impressed with Carl's "willful decision" to find out what was wrong with him. It takes a great deal of courage to walk that journey. The outcome is VERY impressive. I also respect his wife who had the courage and "brain power" along with "intuition" to know this guy was worth walking along side during his journey. The decision to share your newfound wisdom, which is "applied knowledge" only explains your heart motives to glorify God.

I went to his Church in NY during a time in my life I was completely lost. God always knows what he is doing. God gave you a purpose even in your darkness. Soo many of us battle our relationship with sin and our relationship with god. I respect Carl so much because his journey is the journey of every Christian to fall and get back up. To own it! To continue to have faith and to overcome no matter what! No one ever said Christians were perfect in human form. We are all here to heal, grow, love and change. When I was brought to his church and he came on stage I was amazed that I witnessed a pastor dressed in a “bad boys” clothes. Tattoo’s and leathers! God knew he was showing me that I was there to be inspired no matter my lifestyle choices.

What a REFRESHING interview and great hope and life giving discussions. Just goes to show you how, if you were mistreated as a child, and there was no one to help you put the puzzle pieces together or help you deal with the trauma, how easily the enemy of our souls can can enact a stronghold that can take years to break. And to remind us all that we are always in process and thankfully, perfection is not on the table! Bravo, Carl!
To have a neutral person in a therapist/counselor that has no other motive but to help hold the mirror up and help us get to the healing we need to move forward and ultimately help others? Its priceless! Just priceless! Thank you and thank God for your honesty and integrity to share it! ❤

OK… I know that I’m only halfway through this interview, but where are the hard questions? Going back to the comment about the photo in Lohan shorts, his behavior at the time would match someone who’s already in involved in an extra marital affair. So I think that’s the point from Joe Rogan. Whether or not he took the photo on purpose or he was dressed like that on purpose, it’s not really the point. The point is that he was already doing things and dabbing in a lifestyle of sin. When we do that, send creeps in into every area of our life, the way we dress, the way we speak, the way we react…

Take the hat off, show your eyes so we can see your heart. You said on the view something about the gay community & you should have said that they need Jesus & turn from sin but you didn’t, you had an opportunity to tell the world about Gods grace.

Ridiculous character

@RCGWho Let's see. This vid is of a man of God who was sinning, and God brought to a place of repentance. The man is now forward in accountability, surrendered healing, and with God using it to help others, in the same way the accounts in the Scriptures are used, with examples of all Israel and the forefathers.
Yet, here you are as a condemning judge and jury based on your assumptions of him. Therefore, who's the Troll?

This interviewer should be just as concerned about the regular people who went to Carls church who got hurt or affected m.he seems that only the celebrities that went there matter

How can you say that everything was truth what you were speaking if you were full of lies.. your source couldnt be Jesus back then even you knew Jesus is right.. I am so thankful that God’s grace is so big that he is healing your life and your family but I dont understand how you dont see that there was so much false teaching and false leadership.. I bless that all the people who were leaded wrong way would be healed and also praying that you get so close to Jesus that you dont need anything else.

you still have to dress appropriately regardless you dont get a pass. you were a pastor and its called Modesty...period. its gotta the same the for the body of Christ. we are help to be accountable. are we perfect, NO, but there's no need for us to be revealing in what we wear. people need to stop making excuses and feeling like you need to be seen by exploiting our bodies.

Carl. there is a HUGE difference between Godly repentance and worldly repentance, you still come across as being a god in your own mind. Your methods don’t have wisdom & true insight, you need to watch American Gospel (Christ Alone).

God forgives, for sure but he is not suitable to continue in ministry. This will be always as a stumbling stone in his path, unfortunately. This can’t be undone. Someone having affairs over 5 months is absolutely horrible. How can someone think they have the Holy Spirit and God’s annoiting and keep sinning like this, sinning in his body which should be the temple of the Holy Spirit. God loves him, of course. God forgives him, yes! But he is nowhere near to be a suitable pastor of any church and everyone with true wisdom of God’s kingdom should be able to see this. So I hope he is not going to be any “pastor” to anybody. Accept that what he has done is very serious and stay now on the backstage wherever he may want to congregate. Dont pastor anybody, please. Dont be in front of people praying and laying hands on people. Please. This is a very serious character problem, runs deep. I am not a psychologist but it looks like some narcissistic personality disorder may also be one of his issues. God bless him. But hope he never will be “pastor” to someone. If what he was doing at this Hillsong church was ever pastoring, by the way. Another issue too…

““Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?” They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust. When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?” “No, Lord,” she said. And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.” ----------”

“Then the angel showed me Jeshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord. The Accuser, Satan, was there at the angel’s right hand, making accusations against Jeshua. And the Lord said to Satan, “I, the Lord, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.” Jeshua’s clothing was filthy as he stood there before the angel. So the angel said to the others standing there, “Take off his filthy clothes.” And turning to Jeshua he said, “See, I have taken away your sins, and now I am giving you these fine new clothes.” Then I said, “They should also place a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean priestly turban on his head and dressed him in new clothes while the angel of the Lord stood by. Then the angel of the Lord spoke very solemnly to Jeshua and said, “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: If you follow my ways and carefully serve me, then you will be given authority over my Temple and its courtyards. I will let you walk among these others standing here.”
      ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I say that to say as Jesus said to the pharisees, let HE who is WITHOUT sin throw the first stone. should the Lord has deemed Carl as not guilty and called him into a position of authority as he did to Jeshua, silencing the accuser who kept pointing out his sins that the Lord said he’s forgiven him of and REJECTS every accusation by the evil one to condemn him and make him feel unworthy. you are speaking and going against God to say he should no longer be a pastor when God himself had acquitted him of his sins, who do YOU think you are to condemn him when God has saved and redeemed him??? check your heart, and pray the Lord grants you the same mercy and grace as you try to condemn his child and his chosen one. Moses was a murderer but did God say he was unworthy to free his people and be used as a leader ?? so again I ask, who do YOU think you are?? I pray the Lord gives you a renewed mind and deliver you from self righteousness.
