He was great during this time period. I work in live entertainment and stage managed a huge outdoor country show for a long time that started in 1977. He was there a few times. Great bunch to work with. One time when he was there he was drunk and it was horrible and the crowd was drunk also for the most part and they most of the didn't give a hit. A few thousand left but there was 30,00 people there that for the most part stayed and had a great time. I like Hank. Learned and played a lot of the songs from the Rowdy album and several of the older ones. Crowds always loved them.
I have always loved the song ‘Hog Wild’ and his original video. If Dolly Parton was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Hank should be too. But Hank is always shunned by the industry. It took them forever to induct him into the Country Hall of Fame

Love this song and the CD it's great to listen to when you are on vacation or on a 3 day trip
