I absolutely LOVE how this show handles death. Like most shows will move on from a death quickly, but FMAB holds onto it and lives in it. The deaths (Nina, Hughes, etc.) affect the characters and the story going forward. And the losses are felt all the way through the series.

Yeah i do agree with making a "What you have seen list" People will still suggest things that are on it, but it should cut down a bit. And just want to thank you (and John), for starting this series, i havent watched the show since it was FAIRLY new, and you have given me a good reason and opportunity to watch it again.

Haven't seen your other videos but I'm glad RUclips suggested this to me and subbed. Super relatable reaction. I may be an almost 30 year old burly dude but this show makes me cry everytime I watch it lol. Also, if you would like my suggestion for new shows to watch I would reccomend The Apothecary Diaries. Great show with fantastic characters and writing. Although as someone caught up on the light novels, they've BARELY made a dent. There's gonna have to be like 20 seasons to get through it all 😂😂

Longer comment inbound involving various things you mentioned at the beginning. TL:DR - I’m really excited for many of the ideas for the channel you were having, especially berserk. Love that you are back with FMAB! Unfortunate to see John go but sounds like he’s living life so things happen. Best regards to him. I’d personally love berserk Related content! So I for one will always vote for that. I should have the final 3 deluxe volumes by the end of the year myself. I’m so excited for it but love seeing other people react to it all. At least up to where I’ve read as I’m only reading physical currently. The 1996 show covers the golden age decently well especially for it’s time and budget. Some things are missing that were from the manga or censored out for obvious reasons but I still liked it quite a bit and would recommend it. It’s the best adaptation we’ve had so far. At least that’s the general consensus among the community. The 2016 anime was not well received. I haven’t watched it myself yet but have been curious to see for myself. One piece content would be awesome but I do imagined it would be quite overwhelming especially if the time isn’t there. You seem to have a good handle for what would be best though for yourself. I just wanted to put out there that I’d be quite excited for one piece content if it were to ever come around. I love the idea of Manga as well. Would be great if you could do it down the road. Maybe with like read alongs or just breakdowns of chapters or volumes that you’ve read recently or something. Seeing other people’s perspectives on media they interact with is always fun for me to see and I’m excited for whatever you decide to go with. The idea of making a list for previous watched shows would be good I think. Maybe something like a google spreadsheet then maybe have a view only link in the description near the bottom or something. That way it’s being updated real time whenever you do update it and we can see. I’m sure a list would work to on a google doc, just brainstorming more then anything. There’s options out there. Lots of people dont read community posts but I doubt many who watched FMA B react didn't watch the Frieren react as well, so probably not a surprise for the change. I will miss the comfy couch react tho. Super happy with DandaDan, One piece tho might be a biiiit too much even as a livestream and I think kinda locks you in with that huge anime, I personnaly prefer the idea of covering a range of different animes than a very long one. But maybe a review/thoughts on, for every big arc in One Piece instead?

I would LOVE some Berserk videos, whether you want to do reviews, deep dives, discussions or even reactions/read-alongs to the chapters you haven't read yet. I'm 100% down for Berserk content. I also think that it would amazing for you to watch the 1997 anime once you're past that part in the manga. It won't cover anything you haven't already seen, but it's a great watch with an incredible soundtrack and if you're a fan of Berserk you'll definitely enjoy seeing the characters in motion and with voice acting. When I read the manga I 100% read it in the voices from the '97 anime, they're that iconic. I also usually put the soundtrack on as background music.
I like Hawkeye calling out Roy because it also leaves a consistent throughline for where she stands. She was the one who ran into them and told them about Nina's (and Shou Tucker) death. She didn't sugar coat it or mince words, acknowledging they had a right to know the truth. Also the manga actually makes them find out in an even more traumatic way, they find out from seeing Maria Ross' arrest notice in the newspaper.

You mentioned wondering if you should watch Berserk since you've read the manga. An idea for something you could do with some series (not just Berserk) is to read the manga first and then react to the anime, and part of the discussion at the end could be comparing the two and discussing what you think about any differences.
NGL, I prefer the solo reactions. No risk of spoilers, whether intentional or not. This episode is definitely a rough one. Every time Elicia opens the door saying "Daddy" it kills me. As for other shows to watch. Other reactors who do FMA:B tend to go into Hunter X Hunter. As long as you can get past it being quite long. Also personally a fan of Castlevania, which is conversely very short.
Oh, manga reads are a little tricky since you would need to show some of the manga panels and some people have opted to keep those on patreon, but there are a some channels that have done it without much issues. I'd say maybe wait in that a little bit until you have a better idea on how to do it right for YT.
4:54 im jealous of people who read beserk. I've only heard great things about it but SA makes me physically ill as someone who's been Sa'd several times. It just sends me into a super sad headspace. Are you watching One piece normally or watching One pace? I started one pace cause of time but my laptop is so shit lol. If you do make a discord just make sure you get some nice mods, I've seen too many sus/weird things when you let anyone join, especially minors.
Berserk would make great content. Reading the source then watching the anime is the best, but for reaction videos, i feel you would get a much better reaction on camera watching the anime first, then going to the source afterward. It would also make it easier to unite the anime onlys and manga readers. Also feels like the anime playing is too close to your face, like you're sitting in right in front of the TV. Might try sitting in the far corner of the screen and having the anime play opposite corner, this will allow you to increase the size of the anime window. Or try other angles till it feels good. Im sure everyone here will keep watching with whatever you decide. Commentors if you disagree pls post different alternatives so there is more options to choose from.
Probably a combination - it is her first "solo", and honestly it seems like a smaller room with a bit more echo to it (the sofa would help that too, fabric cushion will soften the reverberation).
One suggestion would be for you to do live streaming of One Piece and post the best reaction moments as videos/cuts here on RUclips and Tik Tok. However, I think maybe this type of live streaming works better on Twitch.

4:54 im jealous of people who read beserk. I've only heard great things about it but SA makes me physically ill as someone who's been Sa'd several times. It just sends me into a super sad headspace. Are you watching One piece normally or watching One pace? I started one pace cause of time but my laptop is so shit lol. If you do make a discord just make sure you get some nice mods, I've seen too many sus/weird things when you let anyone join, especially minors.
Berserk would make great content. Reading the source then watching the anime is the best, but for reaction videos, i feel you would get a much better reaction on camera watching the anime first, then going to the source afterward. It would also make it easier to unite the anime onlys and manga readers. Also feels like the anime playing is too close to your face, like you're sitting in right in front of the TV. Might try sitting in the far corner of the screen and having the anime play opposite corner, this will allow you to increase the size of the anime window. Or try other angles till it feels good. Im sure everyone here will keep watching with whatever you decide. Commentors if you disagree pls post different alternatives so there is more options to choose from.

Not sure if it's the mic, nervousness, or some other factor, but you sound a little different.
Probably a combination - it is her first "solo", and honestly it seems like a smaller room with a bit more echo to it (the sofa would help that too, fabric cushion will soften the reverberation).
