My boyfriend always protects me especially when we are out, he never lets me walk by road, parking lot, etc… even in bedroom he doesn’t want me on the side of bed near the door, that really made me feel good
Hi Victoria, Thanks so much for sharing your story! It must feel really good to be so well-protected and cared for. I'm glad your boyfriend is looking out for you. We could all use a little extra security from time to time, so it's wonderful that he does this for you. Keep engaging with the video and let me know if there's anything else I can do for you!

He has all the qualities listed here except for being committed in a relationship and I don't know what to expect, if he's going to one day want me as a lover and not just friends or I should move on. He cares for me he involves me in his personal life, things that matters to him.. we are far from each other currently but he never ceases to show me that he misses me everyday through his actions, his words, he would call me and we'll talk for hours, telling me how his day went, what's troubling him, his problems, jokes and all that. He also call me all these pet names like a lover would😫
Thank you so much for your comment! It sounds like you are really struggling with this situation. I can see how it would be confusing and scary to not know what to expect from someone you care for. I hope you can find a way to communicate with him about your feelings and concerns. In the meantime, please remember that you are worthy of love and respect, no matter what happens with this person. Antonio
My former husband always made me feel safe and protected. One example is when I had a terrible day at work, he arrived home early to make dinner for me, give me a hug, and help ease the stress of the day. He also looks out for me when we go out together by making sure I'm not too overwhelmed by crowds or uncomfortable in new places. He does small things like reaching for my hand in public or giving me a reassuring look that let me know I'm safe with him. Now if only he didn't have all the other issues..... haha
Hi @Gloriatactac1689 It's beautiful that someone was able to make you feel safe and protected, even if it didn't work out in the long run. It's comforting to know that there are people out there who are capable of showing such kindness and love. Unfortunately, sometimes we have to let go of a person for our own well-being. No matter what though, I'm sure that the feeling of safety and protection will stay with you for a long time. thank you for watching and commenting. Antonio
My partner always makes me feel protected, but above all of that he always makes me feel safe to just be myself, and he allows me to be at my most vulnerable state. He has reminded me the true beauty of what it means to be a woman, and that my truest strength also lies within’ what I view as weaknesses. He doesn’t just hear me, but he actively listens and he sees me. My emotions are genuinely cared for and tended to; there’s a calming energy about my man that has made me feel the safest I have ever felt. I feel protected and safe at all times with him wherever we go and with whoever we’re with, but above all of that - I feel the safest to just be me. I think that’s the greatest gift you can give a human being. It’s not exactly what he says or does that makes me feel protected, it’s who he is and his energy. Not a day goes by that I don’t thank God for the outstanding man he has given me. I pray that I make him feel just as safe as he’s made me. 💛
Thank you for sharing your wonderful relationship and for watching our video! Hi @demetria4573, It's wonderful to hear that you have a partner who makes you feel safe, protected, and seen. Relationships that allow both partners to be themselves, to be vulnerable, and to be cared for are truly special. Your partner's calming energy and genuine listening make all the difference in helping you feel safe and secure. It's important to reciprocate that love and support and make your partner feel just as safe and protected as they make you feel. Your gratitude for your partner and for the relationship is evident, and we hope that it continues to bring joy and happiness to both of you. Thank you again for your support and for sharing your story. antonio

my ex husband made me feel safe when I was having anxiety by comforting me, letting me cry, problem solving with me and making me feel safe and calming me down and letting me know it will all be okay and we will get through it.
Hi @marisa06723, Thank you for sharing your comment and for watching our video. My boyfriend who is super busy took time out to get me groceries and medicine when I had Covid back in August. When we walk on the sidewalk he always walks between me and the street. He’s a cancer survivor and the most amazing man I’ve ever known ❤
Hi @kareno1593 It's really wonderful to know that the man you love is so dedicated to taking care of you! It takes a lot of courage and strength for anyone, but especially cancer survivors, to go above and beyond by doing things like getting groceries and medicine for you during a pandemic. Your boyfriend sounds like an amazing person, and it's so heartwarming that he goes out of his way to protect you when you're walking together. We all deserve relationships like this and it's incredible that you have someone special in your life.

Long distance relationship for 6 mos. We've been together in person and enjoy each other. A lot of goid communication texting. Phone calls. Both sending gifts via mail. Will see each other again in a month. I think long distance is challenging to commit to a relationship.
Hi Colleen, Thank you for sharing your thoughts on long distance relationships! It certainly is a challenge to commit to a relationship that way, but I'm glad you have been able to make it work with lots of good communication and gifts. I think your comment can help people in similar situations -- so thank you for engaging. Antonio
he buys me VERY good leathers/protective gear for riding his motorcycle...and good sunglasses, gloves with protection...the whole works. he was with me 24/7 though we live apart...through a YEAR and more of me going through cancer and chemo and surgery...he was driving 4 and 5 hours a day when i was south in phoenix at hospital... 3 1/2 years... he's also 14 years younger...and makes me feel sexy and beautiful...

I'm dating a man from 5 years, he never combined me with his social circle; even he kept it secret. He provide medicines, fruits and advice to take care of myself but never stayed with me when I was sick. He make plans to go out according to his comfort but never got supported my plans. He never even pretend as I'm his priority 😅 He never committed to me, while I asked his a few times, what he think about this relationship, he said every time he said "Lets talk about it later". I'm confused now, what should I do? Waiting for him is painful and Leaving him is also painful 💔😔
Thank you for your comment! It sounds like someone is looking out for you, and that's awesome! Everyone could use a helping hand now and then. I'm glad that your furry friends got the care they needed while you were away. It's great to have somebody you can rely on when life gets hectic. It's not always an easy process, but I hope these videos are helpful in your search. Thank you for watching and for your comment. He does all these things while with me...but on paper still married, he goes long distance half of the time , and although he happily meets my side of the story , but doesn't let me meet his side. He does take care of me and my kids , even kissed me during me being sick with Covid, and drove me to get vaccinated by the demand of my dad...but he has his family abroad and tries to not shatter what his kids think is still left of his marriage.
I''m single now but this example happened I was long term dating a mechanic. He saw my car headlight was out and he fixed it quickly. Got/bought a new bulb, switched it out and checked and doublechecked to make sure it was working.
Hi @MicheleHerrmann, Thank you so much for sharing with us! It sounds like your partner was incredibly thoughtful and caring, taking the time to make sure your car was safe and secure. My man protected me from someone trying to slander my name in front of him. It only happened once and he jumped to my aid and shut it down. This was in the very beginning of our relationship when we started getting serious.
Hello @vanessakarli4176, Thank you for sharing your story! It's a great reminder of how important it is to have someone who will stand up for you and always have your back. The early stages of any relationship are so important, and it's wonderful to have someone like him who is already showing their dedication and commitment to you. I look forward to chatting with you again. antonio
I have been dating this guy for almost two years now, but he doesn't want any commitment. Sometimes he blows hot and the next moment cold. I don't know where we are headed but he keeps saying he cares for me and doesn't want to loose our friendship. I have always been the one trying to reach out to him. He would say he is not ready but wants to spend time with me. What do I do? Cos I really do love him.
I met my guy online. We been texting 7 momths. He tool a job overseas. He been gone a little over 6 months. We have never met in person. He is coming home very soon. He wants to come here first. Then we go get his daughter. He has said, "I love you," so have.. He has asked me to marry him. I am nervous about our first meeting. I think things will change everything. What should I expect, if anything?
Thank you for your comment and for watching the video. while every relationship is different, it can take some time to determine if the signs of commitment are there. but early in the relationship you can certainly communicate to ensure that both partners are on the same page. Thank you again for watching abd commenting. antonio
Please Dr.Antonio i would like you go do a video of how to know a guy is truly in love with you in a distant relationship. I'm in one presently the clause is i haven't seen him before we met on facebook but i really like him, i live in nigeria he is in italy
Thank you for your suggestion! Long distance relationships can be tricky, and understanding the signs of true love can be difficult. But I agree.. that would be a very good topic. I'll do some research and see what I can come up with. I encourage you to keep engaging with me here for more advice. Antonio

I realize that he might not have missed me so much, only rarely, though I was very attracted to him it somehow went all wrong, we are separated now but it still hurts and there is that pull towards him and the unsolved problem. I think he never might have been interested so much which hurt me and I tried to improve it through my actions
Hi Danu9126, It sounds like you are struggling with a difficult situation. It is understandable that it hurts when someone we care about doesn't feel the same way. I hope that our videos can help you on your journey and provide some insights. Keep watching and sharing, as our content may be able to shed some light on the matter.
My boyfriend checked all these boxes.. plus I know in my heart he loves me, i feel it. But recently a lot has been going on in his life and the cherry on top is that his dog got sick and passed.. right after that he broke up with me stating that he hasn’t been the guy I deserve and that he was numb..he blocked me on social media but didnt block my number yet wont answer my texts.. im taken back because the last time we spoke we were talking about having our first child.. i know he loves me but why is he ignoring me?
With commitment, I know someone who hasn't talked about their "relationship" with a guy who they think they're dating. But I don't think the guy is committed to her because she has joked around with him about breaking up and his answer was "oh, you're breaking up the friendship." also, it doesn't seem like they're building a future together and that things seem stagnant.
Hello @jessstites1441, Thank you for your comment and for watching the video. navigating relationships and commitment can be difficult, especially when it’s not clear how the other person is committing to you. I hope my videos are helpful and provide useful advice and tips on managing these types of issues. Please continue watching and commenting. I appreciate it so much. antonio
Wow never got told he loved me, never proposed, my son looked after me if I was sick, never had my back. He died four years ago and I realized he had a problem. Three and half years we saw each other didn't date me. His job was out of town and he helped his parents on farm. I saw him once a week. No cell phones then. He did overseas trips later on he never rang home. No gifts birthday or cmas. Worked 3 jobs as he never paid me worked 25 years together. I felt used and he cheated overseas as well. Inwasted years on him
My Ex is a narcissist (I don't use that term lightly, I think it is used too often now), but he did most of these things you speak of in this video. I guess I'm feeling a little confused and unsure....
Hi, I felt my boyfriend dont fully committed in our relationship, probably he still scared from his previous 12years relationship with someone who left him. I'm still proving how much I love him. I hope this relationship will work, as we are nit getting younger. :(
Hi @virginiapregunta8953, Thank you for sharing your story. Relationships can be difficult and we all go through challenging times. Keep watching our videos, as we explore many topics about relationships and finding happiness in them. Share with your friends - it might help others too! Antonio
I’m in a distant relationship. He’s very attentive but feel it’s difficult to discuss commitment. We meet up when we can but never met friends or family as there’s never been the opportunity so some signs you describe aren’t there yet
Are there plans for you to eventually live in the same area? When that happens, more concrete plans can be made including formal commitment. Thank you so much for watching and commenting

My guy says he does not want a commitment 🙄 but we talk for hours on the call as we in different countries. He admits that he has affection for me and has an emotional bond. But he is very egoistic after an argument and refuses to make the first move or contact. This can go for days till I text him. We have been together for over a year now. He is seperated from his wife and child and I'm a widow . We met on an dating app. Have been on 2 international holidays together Please advice

I am in a very confusing situation, I know my boyfriend dearly loves me but he doesn't want me to wear shorts and too much revealing clothes cause he thinks it makes me look rather indecent and whenever I talk to him about it he always answers with saying that he just wants me to look decent and classy, now I am confused that if I should let him do it or change it .. A man I’m seeing has potential to be great. I like him so much but he’s constantly telling me how women hit on him. He keeps in contact with all his exes. He’s a giant flirt. I know he likes me but I don’t know about him. He said he doesn’t want to put effort. I ask why pursue me then?
Thank you so much for commenting here. It sounds like you're having a tough time with this guy and it's understandable that you're confused. It's important to remember that we all have different ways of expressing our feelings and it's not always easy to know exactly what someone is thinking. However, it does sound like he's engaging in some questionable practices. giant flirt? telling you that women hit on him? I don't like the sound of those th9ings. My husband just left me at the end of Sept and since then my best friend and I have been spending time together once a week and we messages all day every day...he told me 7 years ago that he loves me and has feelings for me but he was scared to tell me years before and I admitted to him that I have feelings for him as well...a couple weeks ago I told him that I think we should be more and he said he doesn't know and I told him to think about it and for the last 3 weeks he's been saying that he's still thinking about it and I'm not sure what to do? He shows me through his actions that he loves me and has even met some of my friends and coworkers and just met my son again for the 1st time in 11 years...my husband didn't like him so I wasn't allowed to see him and now him and my son have exchanged phone #s and have meme wars over text message...it upsets me though that he's still thinking and even though he says he loves me and shows it I don't know whether I should give him more time...its only been a little over a month since we've been spending time together but of the roles we're reversed I wouldn't have to think about it...for me it would be an automatic yes because of how long I've known him for and my feelings for him...what should I do?

My ex boyfriend once went after a guy that took my phone from me in a tricycle at gun point. Cause I was coming to see him that evening and a guy in the tricycle I was in pointed a gun at me and asked for my phone and I gave him. So when I got to his place the guy walked past his house and I told him so he chased the guy barefooted and the guy gave him my phone and told him where he disposed my hand bag😓

I have a beautiful relationship with someone who does all the things listed however we have several hours of drive time between us. I've made it to where he can move closer so that we can start growing together. Yet his parents think it's manipulative and that I seem desperate. He would have his own apt and I have offered to cover the first month of expenses while he finds a job he wants to work at. Meanwhile he has never moved away from friends and family and has lived his life comfortably in the same town for the last 25 years. He's scared to make the transition but also says he's scared to lose me. I'm not sure how I should proceed with this relationship, we've known each other since we were 21 and dated for the last 3 years. His biggest fear is failure, not just failing me but failing at the transition into a foreign environment. Previously he's met me halfway and we've spent the night in a hotel and this past year I've driven to see him at his place 3x. We have weekly video calls and 2-4 phone calls a week just to catch up. He has yet to make the drive to me as he's worried about the weather conditions because the roads can get a bit icy or snowy during the winter and he's not very familiar with that driving condition.
Hi Lisaisdabom, It sounds like your relationship with your partner is really special, but I agree with you... i think he is afraid of the transition.
Now if only he didn't have all the other issues..... haha
Hi @Gloriatactac1689
It's beautiful that someone was able to make you feel safe and protected, even if it didn't work out in the long run. It's comforting to know that there are people out there who are capable of showing such kindness and love. Unfortunately, sometimes we have to let go of a person for our own well-being. No matter what though, I'm sure that the feeling of safety and protection will stay with you for a long time. thank you for watching and commenting. Antonio
What were those issues?
Hi @demetria4573,
It's wonderful to hear that you have a partner who makes you feel safe, protected, and seen. Thank you again for your support and for sharing your story. antonio

My boyfriend who is super busy took time out to get me groceries and medicine when I had Covid back in August. When we walk on the sidewalk he always walks between me and the street. He’s a cancer survivor and the most amazing man I’ve ever known ❤
Hi @kareno1593

I'm dating a man from 5 years, he never combined me with his social circle; even he kept it secret. He provide medicines, fruits and advice to take care of myself but never stayed with me when I was sick. He make plans to go out according to his comfort but never got supported my plans.

Listening to this realizing my husband does not love me 😟 Maybe this is why I’m listening to this lol.
when should we see this or should he show you? In early steps of dating or once in a serious relationship? Also should we communicate these and when?

Hi Lisaisdabom,
It sounds like your relationship with your partner is really special, but I agree with you... i think he is afraid of the transition. Hello @billiemiss87, Thank you for your comment! Relationships can be difficult, and it sounds like you're facing a challenging situation. I don't think I can advise you on what to do in this situation (especially in the comment section..haha) It's important to remember that everyone is different and all relationships work differently. What matters is whether or not the relationship works for you. Make sure to communicate your needs to your partner, and if the relationship isn't working, don't be afraid to explore other possibilities. Thank you again for engaging here. antonio
@Antonio Borrello thanks so much for the advice I appreciate 🙏
