- New Series! Welcome to the beginning of the restoration of a beautiful Porsche 911! This thing is a beauty and is in for some preventative maintenance and the all important kidney bowl upgrade.
Although, later in the series you will see that this isn't the only issue with this car!
This car is a structural mess!
Thanks to Frost for the Eastwood Beast Machine!
Strips paint and underseal like a beast.
Check Frost out:

Popping up all around the car with “Rust hides everywhere” 😂😂😂😂
I was cracking up 🤣
Bostin Ryan! Another 911 resto. Brilliant, fantastic. Loving it.
Love it. A Guard's Red 911 G-model. Seen it lurking in previous videos, this will be a popular series - no doubt. 😎😎
Just when I think life cannot get any better, the team bring this along , proper cheered me up after a rubbish start to the week
I see billy bodger has been at the wiring using 1.25 3 core flex !!!, a hanging offense on a fine car such as that
I have purchased a fair few tools from Frost, cant fault them, top company
Nice to see you have moved away from the BMWs, well for a while.......................keep up the fantastic work...
The genius Porsche way to do it, simple and efficient. Great video in progress 👍
I like the fact that you appreciate the value of that old car, everything organized and taken care of 👍
Great video. Any more coming on the cosmos or Datsun? Thank you
Can't wait for the next episode. If the front's that bad there will be lots more to find.
No dowt you have had various items from there large array of repair items , been following them for a while , love what ever vehicle you work on to test your skills
Nice! Would need good to see the already existing 911 project get some updates, along with the Cosmo, Disaster Datsun, etc.
Colin Furze car seems to have been left by the wayside too
I'd never be able to afford any of these exotic (?) and similar cars even in their crusty condition, but I love seeing the rectification work in retrieving them from oblivion! Love to see masters of their craft and yep, Steve , Ryan and Co, "they fixes things!". Cool bananas guys.
Ich schaue gerne euch beim Arbeiten zu. Da es real ist wie die Arbeiten ausgeführt werden ,super
Really looking forward to the next video Ryan thank you
Thanks for the content
Great and informative video. Again, it looks like you all have a lot of work ahead of you.

All Tyan's birthdays have come at once, New project and a cool new tool - put it good use there Ryan
What a beautiful car ❤
Hey Ryan, any update on Patches yet 🤔
*Can't wait for the next video mate! Love watching striping cars to the bare metal to reveal any kind of absurdities from their pas life. :)*
Ecky thump! A new series 😜. Great stuff. Get some David DeLuge piped into those headphones 👍🏻
Someone’s dumped a washing machine in the boot.
Hi . I was wondering what had happened with the disaster Datsun as thats what brought me to this channel ? The other car was the Cosmo . Thanks again for more content . Thank god its no another BMW lol
A guards red Porsche.......doesnt get much better than that!
Good luck with this project, which appears to have rust in all the usual places. 👍👍
Becareful of the magnesium wheel nuts no impact gun
Hey man , where is Mat's bmw and wen a new ep on it ?
Las seen hiding under a car cover. But I think they will tell us later in the Q and A
Matt crashed it 😂
For a 40 yr old car, it seems in great shape when compared to equivalent BMW’s
great stuff ryan new project....by the way where is rocco ?
Are you still working on Colin's BMW?
Looks like there might be some nasty surprises for the owner of this good looking car. Presentative maintenance yes, but quite extensive. Worth doing of course. Best wishes.
better investment than money in the bank
I thought 911s were galvanized at some point? Can you confirm?
Did Shmee change his mind about Patches, not prepared to sell both kidneys?
Didn't take long for Autoalex to trash Roger. All that hard work!
This video was filmed months ago
@@yorkshirecarrestoration Thought so! It just made me chuckle. I love the videos guys. Keep 'em coming.
Still Waiting for Matt Armstrong's Car Any MA Fans Waiting As Well!
will there be a new episode of the disaster datsun? I'm eager to see those fat arches ;) Also the cosmo is dearly missed. Nothing against a Porsche, but I need that japanese rust ;)
i see roger in the background ! has auto alex broken it already ?
A beautiful vehicle despite the colour not being to my taste.
Enjoyed the new Porsche project. Like you say …rust hides. Enjoying the projects . Do you ever actually use Rust converter/inhibitor or do they simply not work?
Yes, He's plugging the Dinitrol stuff that he uses all the time :)
When are you doing more to the Disaster Datsun?
Is it mandatory to smash the glasses each time you removed a small bit of dirt, rust or whatever with the Frost SCT? If so, I won't recommend it!
What's the status of SchmeePorscheMobile a.k.a. "Patches" ?
Do you prefer a 4 post or 2 post lift
Jak klasyczne 911 to 964😍 Hej, kirownica jest po złej stronie😉🤣
does that laser unit do paint or just rust?
It strips paint as well :)
I don´t want to know what you might find on my Audi 80 B4....
No BMW again - thank you!
I see a very unfinished Auto Alex car in the background there
Yep, this video was filmed months ago
Why did i feel sick when you were makin holes in the sill ffs.
WHERE IS COLIN'S BMW???
Where's Colin furze BMW it's been over a month what's going on if I was him I would be absolutely pi**ed off
thats nothing to you ryan couple hours work where are your dads vids recently
You not into acid dipping cars?
If not, why?
Acid dipping gets the chemicals into the seams and doesn’t leave.
Because acid dipping this car makes no sense. Nut and bolt rebuild??? Not whats going to happen. I'm sure Nat or Cal @ Retropower have gone into why acid dipping isn't a great idea.
Acid dipping removes all the factory protection from within the A, B & C pillars and many other places where you might not want it removed. Places where it might be difficult to repaint afterwards. Then, unless properly repainted afterwards the car can over time rust from the inside out.
I speak from experience.
I don't think this is a Complete balls deep strip to the bone type build. Acid dipping strips all the seam sealer and can leave acid within the seams. Also it can leave pockets of acid where you can't remove. Media Blasting seems the favourite method these days.
Maybe because it's way more expensive? Just my thought.
Haha i see an rx8 in the back
I hate all undeseal, just saying.
