There’s an episode of Curb that freed a guy from a murder conviction cause they have him on camera in the episode background when the crime was happening. Pretty crazy stuff.
In the Curb book they talked about this episode where they were only allowed to film this episode after the Laker season just incase Shaq doesn't actually gets injured during filming. It took careful planning when arranging this episode.
Yup this. Also most of the players were just actors wearing the jerseys of the real life players. I'm assuming they just filled part of the stadium with a couple hundred extras and just filmed it to where it looked full for that scene? Maybe used some real shots from an actual game mixed in. Either way it turned out looking real!
Yes, quite famously IIRC there is a episode where they went to I think a baseball game? and some guy used it as an alibi to get out of a murder conviction. super wild.
I can rewatch this show from ANY season but I always end up going back to 1x1. This show GOT, Oz, The Boondocks, Vice Principal, Euphoria, and Boardwalk Empire are the ONLY REASONS I still have HBO 💁🏽♀️
