- Just a short Video of Mallard in steam at Derby in 1986, it is seen been detached from its train and going to take water then departing for London. -This has been shown in one of my other Mallard Video's : • Mallard & Flying Scots... and • MALLARD - York - Scarb...
Mallard is soo beautiful. Never thought would see footage of it in steam but this Roy is truly incredible. Clever that Mallard did a loop around the station so that all can see and get shots of it.
Thank you Ricky
So nice to see Mallard in motion, seen it a few times static but it's just not the same. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
Fantastic footage Roy. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching Ben
So graceful! The Railway's answer to the Ford Capri: just standing still, it looks like it's doing 60! My own Capri also exceeded 125, but that's another story.
Glad you enjoyed it
Brilliant video with such a lovely loco, I just wish I could see her in action myself. Sadly I was born too late
Glad you enjoyed it
That looks fabulous , enjoyed the video. 😎Just subscribed👍 best regards Martin

Thank you Bryan
Brilliant vid Roy cheers Steve.
Thanks Steve
Pretty sure 4yr old me and my dad is among the crowd at the end of the now gone Bay platform
Did they really take such a remarkably indulgent attitude to people all over the track even then?
That's the way things were then.
Roy wonderful, which way did it go to London as it looks very much like its left on the Birmingham line
As far as I remember it was going to Marylebone John.
@@royharrison4122 thanks Roy
