  • My body is God like, and I am the best at P.E. by a long way. Listen as I tell you all how to fuel yourself properly, and not like a fashion-eating food-selfie taking failure who gets upset about what brand of water they drink and eats rice with a spoon like a spine injury victim.

    I've been riding 2.5 years. 173cm 70kg down from 94 friggin kg. I look skinny fat now. Pure cyclist. 10-11 hours per week with intervals. Legs are lean and muscular. Arms are thin and boney. Still have a pretty fatty belly haha. Then again I spent 32 years wrecking my body with junk food and absolutely zero exercise. 2.5 years next to that it nothing. My body probably needs more time to adapt. I think I'm gonna give the rice thing a try. I eat clean (and vegan) but I think it's what kind of food you eat and when you eat it (like you said, strategize it) is more important as mentioned.

    Great video! Missed the stream, but great to hear all of this put into context with mistakes along the way. Given me some ideas of new ways to mix it up to drop some weight...will keep you posted of how it goes over the next few months.

    Broccoli, Kale, Sweet Potato and Nutritional Yeast. Add those to your diet and they are very nutritionally complete.

    Good to catch up with the livestream. Will have to do some experimenting myself.

      Yeah mate, like I said, all this is just my own personal experience with diet and stuff. There will be some objective truths in there, but it is going to differ for everyone, especially the amount of food needed, warm up times, etc., but the principles should remain. Let us know how you go with it :)

    How many calories you consume and burn on average?

    • @TheDarkInstall
      @TheDarkInstall  6 лет назад

      Depends what I’m doing mate. I probably do about 400 an hour when I am going for it.

      +TheDarkInstall but the total calories consumed/burned for the day?

    • @TheDarkInstall
      @TheDarkInstall  6 лет назад

      No idea mate. I just eat when I am hungry. Never counted calories for the day unless it is on a massive ride and I wanted to know for the lols

      +TheDarkInstall does sometimes happened that you are not hungry but you feel low energy? How much time it takes to you to get shredded?

    • @TheDarkInstall

      You learn to stop linking the feelings of hunger with how much fuel you have left. Once you work out exactly how much you need through trial and error, you can put in whatever fuel you need and you won’t slump. Shredded; that is subjective, but usually a month from a non-peaking state.
