The mere fact he came out on RUclips to give a tutorial on hue to start a business shows you the man has humility and of good upbringing. His soul is pure. God bless him always.🙏❤️
This seriously deserves more views and likes. This man basically lists exactly what to do, like literally (and I don't say "literally" often) follow the steps and anyone can yield gold from what he's talking about. Great video!

Hey I just turned 20 and I’m considering starting a food based business. Thank you for making this video firm and to the point. It’s what I was looking for!
Absolutely loved this video! So informative and straight to the point. I’ve been watching videos on this for 2 days and couldn’t find anyone discussing the true difference between doing it at home or using a copacker. Thanks so much!!
I really liked how you laid it out in plain honest words. Not beat around the bush or sugar coat things. I do very much appreciate this video and thank you for doing it. I am working on my own recipe now so this was valuable to me.
This tutorial was very helpful to me and others. Hope you will do more like this later on in the future. I am new to your channel and I’m starting a new business once again thank you for this insight.
I’m 17 and in high school. This is very helpful as I want to create a business and be successful. I see an opportunity I have and I want to take it! Thank you so much for your time to make this video and the willingness to share information to others.❤
wow so random I was just doing some food research, and remembered your product and searched it here on YT and you JUST uploaded this vid... pretty cool
Honestly Dan...you have grown on me. Your story is inspiring and I respect the hustle. You turned this "hater" into a fan. Just bought your seasoning for the first time a month or so ago and it's a solid choice I like to use for my cilents as my job is being a personal chef. Keep on grinding Dan-O!!!
Lol much respect but what fid you hate him for earlier? Always respected Dan and his recipes on insta and what not years ago. Glad he made it and I buy hos seasoning, its pretty good.
@theForrestGalantey I'm not quite sure, to be honest, as that was like a year ago. I think a lot of it had to do with being a personal chef and seeing how "cringe" his recipes he was cooking. I would notice the mistakes or bad cooking habits in those videos. But I soon realized that's just ignorant, and as a self-employed person myself, I respect the success and appreciate the journey.
I been making my dad’s special seasoning for years. I’m looking to advance it. I got people in 12 states hitting me up. But I need to get more professional looking to this video for help. Thanku. I’ve won every contest I’ve ever entered. From pulled pork to brisket to tritip
That is so nice of you I will always be at danos customer just for the fact that if you think about it you may be helping out your competition........ But entrepreneurism is what America was built on unfortunately that is going by the wayside and it is nice to know that there are still people out there willing to help others succeed as well.
Good stuff Dan! Seen your products out there and I'm glad to see you out here on RUclips pointing us newbies in the direction of success. I'm happy you done made it and I hope to meet you at the top some day! 👍🏽
Hey, I didn't know where yo start, but after watching your video I know what to do. Thank you so much for helping everyone who want to jump into this business. Very helpful content👏👏👏
Excellent advice! Thanks a lot for the guidance. I've been told by many people that love my cooking that I should sell the seasoning blends. It's been gnawing at me for years. I'm going to finally take the plunge! We just have a few names/logos to figure out first. Thanks again!!!
Dan Thank you for the best instructions ever! How did you market your products? What else did you do beyond farmers market. I have sold tea from farmers market. I want to know how to go beyond that initial market validation with a limited capital I have. Thanks!
Thanks Dan really appreciate the informative information. I have been wanted to go into a spice business since Covid hit. Im ready now, this video helped me alot 😊
Thanks man! This gives me the confidence to push myself to take the leap! Scary thing to step into the unknown but you gotta get uncomfortable to be successful!
Thank you, my brother ! Entering this endeavor and this video is on point. I have an amazing product name and I have some other things that give me some advantages and I’m telling you, this is not out of reach! You got my focus even more clear and I just wanna thank you, my man. Can’t wait to roll!
I love your voice because, I personally listen to videos at a 1.5 speed or 2.0 speed and for many people it doesn’t transition well. Meaning you’re unable to understand it because of how they speak they tone etc. i can perfectly understand you even at 1.5 speed video
I'm 14 and I managed to make this very good seasoning for hamburgers. I'll probably make a couple of containers and ask people in town to try it out. If people like it I'll probably try to sell it.
Nice video buddy. When you were making it yourself, were you using any special equipement to make them faster ? Commercial/industrial scale or a 0,1g 40$ scale ? Any other equipements you wish you had at the very beginning ?
What kinda of shows are you talking about, is there shows for just like new seasonings products ? Or things of that nature. I really enjoy the information and thank you
Ok so I have a product my restaurant I own has been making for over 40 years. Do you think I should still start small or go straight co packer? It’s a very successful product in our local region. Worried that growing too quickly could be an issue. Any thoughts?
Man I just want to thank you for that knowledge.. I was sitting here on my couch like how do I do this out my apartment me and my wife living in.. How do i push my product out my apartment? Im in Texas. Do i have to have a commercial kitchen?
First off great video I love stuff like this, my question for you or any small business with big dreams is how did you finance the big orders? So when you need that 50k or 500k for Inventory where did that cash come from? I find this is the question most often avoided in a success story, do you have investors, bank loan, home equity or are the margins so good you can self finance. Thanks
I know an easy way to have cows and goats milk in special bottle, can survive 1mth shld be alot after that to just sell like a Passive earning(becos have enough or wait for it to become cheese). I wish can do this in normal life(always having milk). The ruling way is weird for living. Having passive imagining kids days would already feel rich. When the crisis occur again(i heard will have alot of death and burns), i think doing this is nice - at least have Milk.
Im in Cincinnati not far from you. I have a similar problem. Wanting to start my own company except my business is illegal here. 😥 I grow good quality cannabis. Some cbd and thc infused Dan O's would be 🔥 😆 I love grilling and farming/ gardening
I'm telling you. God will bless you 10 times over. Somebody out there really needed this guide and your motivation.
God bless you too for your warm words as well

One point I feel you missed is how and where do you get your food tested to have the calorie breakdown done for the ingredient label?
5:20 this is great information for people to know! When people come to our art department, they tend to only know a couple of things
Honestly Dan...you have grown on me. Your story is inspiring and I respect the hustle.

I really needed this. I’m working on perfecting my recipe for a BBQ sauce as we speak and coming up with a name that will be globally recognizable!
I love your voice because, I personally listen to videos at a 1.5 speed or 2.0 speed and for many people it doesn’t transition well. Meaning you’re unable to understand it because of how they speak they tone etc. i can perfectly understand you even at 1.5 speed video

Thanks, Yes this video is very helpful.
Stoked I found your seasoning! Love it!
Did you start off with an original flavor or did you have multiple flavors to start?
Thank You Brother!!
People don't want anything out of someone's random kitchen so should the seasoning be manufactured somewhere and packaged?
First off great video I love stuff like this, my question for you or any small business with big dreams is how did you finance the big orders? So when you need that 50k or 500k for Inventory where did that cash come from?

I like your business strategy.......

Good stuff, thank you. Love your product
When you went to farmers markets in the beginning, did you give samples or just place your seasoning on the table for people to try it out?
Thank you

Very helpful information 👍🏾
Im in Cincinnati not far from you. I have a similar problem. Wanting to start my own company except my business is illegal here. 😥 I grow good quality cannabis. Some cbd and thc infused Dan O's would be 🔥 😆 I love grilling and farming/ gardening
Great information
When using a co-packer, do they supply the seasoning and the jars? And once I get my labels made do I just send it to the copacker?
Great job I appreciate this information
Thank you sir.
Love this video
