    I have a fu**ing super painful disease and some of my mornings are rough!! When I wake up just beat down from no sleeping and I feel like breaking down crying, I put this cover on.     Pedal Steel is one of the coolest instruments in existence. I often think about how it is an untapped source of potential for music outside of country. You have achieved some great sounds in this video. Definitely subscribed

      The Decembrists use it occasionally in their music, with a prominent example being in the track "The Hazards of Love Part 4 (The Drowned)". Their stuff is I'd class as progressive folk rock, but they're distinctly not country.
