I was thinking of including in pledge only the essentials for me, being my first dip into the system, but the more I know of it I've modified my pledge little by little to get up to 5 expansion boxes. For me it went like this: 1 - Core + Titans + Playmat 2 - War of Light 3 - Arkham Asylum 4 - Green Lantern Corps 5 - Suicide Squad The order beckons my personal preferences for characters firstly and second the variety in playing. I think this is all amazing and if I could I'd go full in.
Great video! Looking forward for the guide picks. In Brazil its gonna be really expensive to get the game in the CF. Althought we can wait for retails, just like Marvel United, lots of extra stuff will be unavailable.
Dude! You seem PUMPED for this game! So much enthusiasm in this video...even some sound effects (Flash)! I, too, am looking forward to this one. The Suicide Squad expansion looks like it's building on the success of the Sinister Six expansion. So far, that looks like the only expansion that is a "must buy".
As a backer of the first Marvel United, I’ve always passed on new United campaigns. While I enjoy the system, it’s hard to justify the price for a little, as you said, extra flavor.
Season 1 of Marvel United was fine and I had the same impression (I came in during Season 2, but played Season 1 stuff first), but everything since is honestly just way better. There's not really much I would bother with from S1 if I was getting into the game now unless I just really wanted a character, very little hero theme and only a few interesting villain designs. I feel like with Season 1 they didn't really expect the game to be popular and designed it more as a collector's thing that you could play, but after becoming a hit they started to put much more effort into treating it like an actual game. The game is still balanced, but it's actually a bummer how many big name characters are stuck with boring Season 1 designs. The small refinements make a much bigger difference than they seem at first blush.
Looks good, but the campaign got me to look into all my Marvel United X-men stuff again. And I really don’t need any more. I also went all-in on DCeased. I think I’m content keeping my United Marvel and my Zombicide DC. But I recommend it for anyone who doesn’t have any United game yet. Just go all-in. It’s great.
I may all in back this. I just played marvel united and loved it. And I've been dying to have a dc game. I didn't get dceased because I have marvel zombies and I dont need more
A big part of me regretted not backing the X-Men version of United but I'm glad that I didn't as I vastly prefer DC. I can't wait to get this to the table.
I’ve never played nor never really had much interest in Marvel United. I have everything for Marvel Champions and prefer the depth of card construction, no need for another Marvel game. However, the gameplay seems so simple and has had nothing but great reviews, I would be interested in atleast trying it. DC United has kind of peaked my interest, not that I have a preference of DC over Marvel or anything, but if I wanted to play Marvel I have Marvel Champions and if I wanted to play DC, I could have United. I’m still on the fence to back or not, but looking at videos like this one today to better understand what this campaign provides in comparison to the previous Marvel campaign and if this is a good place to start with United.
Bro! I'm your opposite. I have all the Marvel United stuff, but was interested in Marvel Champions but can't justify getting into it due to having nearly all United. With United, I almost exclusively play it in Super Villain mode, which is 1vs4 players. Where 1 controls the Villain. My group prefers competitive games and it works great for us.
Of course it's best one yet, they make each kickstarter better. I'm just sad that Marvel was the first one and didn't get such treatment. I'm not interested in DC, unfortunately.
very expensive (all in) and too shallow of a game, not for me, i remember when i bought the xmen retail and look at the minis the wow was there but when i played it 2 - 3 times its a big meh too easy, sure it has a lot for different character to choose from but their skills are the same. get it for the minis really not the gameplay if youre a massive fan of DC
No, you can always check the disclosure section of every video I post (it's in the description), where I identify those relationships. With that said, I don't think Cmon pays for coverage, but they also used to not send prototypes out.

All in! This system gets better and better with each iteration.

Already all in.😀

im glad you stopped backing after Marvel united. its too expensive for a shallow game
Yes I back first Marvel United, but I am getting this one too because while do enjoy Marvel I am much more of a DC fan.

I’m in, as a fan of the United system… though I might not go all in as I’m more of a Marvel than DC fab… though I do love me some Batman

Dark seed? 😂
Is that his name?? 🤪😬
It's pronounced Dark Side. He's just giving you a hard time. When you just read it, you wouldn't necessarily guess that.
@@brentreed9395 I thought it was dark side but when I looked at it it's like darksied. Thank you
