      Not sure about Germany beating England. They looked disorganised against Spain, average against Swiss, Denmark and Hungary.
      Germany only looked dangerous against Scotland, but didn’t look like a team that’s strong enough just yet to be a contender.
      Germany will come back for either 26 or challenge for the 28 Euros.

    🇪🇸 España ganó a Croacia, Italia, Alemania, Francia e Inglaterra. No creo que exista un precedente similar en alguna fase final de una Euro. Derrotó a muchos campeones del mundo y de Europa con mucha soltura. Desplegó un futbol precioso, de control del juego, posesión de balón, una fuerte presión al eqipo contrario en cada partido incluso cuando iban ganando dificultando de esa forma la salida del área sl equipo rival gracias a una perfecta colocación de los españoles en el césped. Y por ultimo, un juego vertical de ataque. El control del juego fue total en muchos minutos de sus partidos con un medio del campo impresionante con unos daros de posesión escandalosos (65% en la final). Es inexplicable que a España no le hayan dado labota de oro a ningún jugador en los ultimos años (Iniesta). Ya le tocatia a Rodri... Récord en una fase final con 7 victorias consecutivas. Récord de goles marcados por un mismo equipo, 15, y además fueron marcados por 10 jugadores distintos... Increíble. En definitiva, el mejor equipo del torneo con diferencia. Ganó el fútbol, ganó España. 🇪🇸

    Some players do great at the club level because of their Coach and the Coach's system they put in place (Pep Guardiola. Carlo Ancelotti, for example). England team does not seem to have an effective and recognizable system. Gareth Southgate is a good coach and a decent man but how can he take the English team to the World Cup winning level when he has no idea what that level is? He keeps repeating what he knows over and over. Meaning taking the team to the final (in a chaotic way at times) and lose to a much much better team (with excellent coach and system in place).

    • @jal051
      @jal051 Месяц назад +2

      It's very difficult to build a system in a national team. 2010 Spain had a very defined system because it shared the basics of Barcelona's system, but in general national teams have to go with the standard stuff because the coachs don't have enough time with the players to prepare anything else.

    • @paQ75
      @paQ75 Месяц назад +2

      @@jal051 Difficult but not impossible, with the right tools; a coach who has a clear idea of the game system he wants for his team and the players, from among those available to him, who are best suited to it, in that order.
      Then you have to work physically and psychologically with the players to make those synergies effective. That is why the Spanish national team is arousing so many passions, because it is achieving something that is rare and difficult to achieve.
      In the case of England vs Spain, the difference between having a handful of stars or a balanced and dynamic TEAM that adapts to almost any situation has been clearly seen.
      Luis de la Fuente is doing great.

It reminds me of the old German teams. Always technical. Unlike the old Brazil, talent wins them the WC. Despite lousy and corrupt organization. USA is country gifted full of potentials in any sport. The problem with American kids? They plays any sport that is provided. Unlike Spain. The eat, drink, talk, pray and sleep football. An American kid great in soccer, then in high school his 6'9" playing basketball. Contrary to US womens soccer. These ladies play soccer until college.
