For all those who says this is garbage. I wouldn´t say so. I am getting this Kobra 2 Neo tomorrow for 149 euros. Before i had Anycubic i3 Mega( paid 250 euros then ) for 5 years and had no problems. It is working well and i donated to my friend and he is printing with it as i write.
In this price range, for amateur it's a great tool. However, I have so many issues with mine that after only a year I am already switching to Bambu. Bed warp is a thing here and one side is always higher than the other despite the leveling. One of the fans also got bad pretty quickly and will have to replace it before selling. Overall - solid 6/10 but nothing to write home about.
mi mother wanted to print a bunch of figures and gnomes to the garden, so mi brother bought the Kobra 2 plus, a 32x32x 40 cm printer, with dual axes to the z edge. is a nice and fast printer. I was a newbee to the 3d printer world. Also Inused the anycubic slicer, it was easy to use and intuitive. I had no problem to understand the settings. I was watching this video because I got a kobra 2 neo for my self. the kobra 2 plus machine is impressive, but is bigger than I'm allowed to, so, i've choosed the smaller version. Thanks for you time doing this review!
Thank you for making this video. I'm brand new to 3D printing and just bought this one on Black Friday sale as my first 3D printer. This was a great guide for showing me what to expect on setup. Everything went smoothly, and I didn't have the bed-crashing problem you ran into. My first print was the spider, and it came out perfectly!
I bouth on cybermonday and I should be getting it on Sunday .... did your run into any issues at all I would apreciate it any feedback or advice you have to give also what kind of filament your using Thank you ,
@@jserr9682 I ordered it on Thursday with the Cyber Monday offers but I haven't heard anything since. No shipping confirmation email. Have you had problems too? Is Anycubic slow with shipping?
@@jserr9682 after using it for a week, I haven't had any issues that I haven't been able to solve just by tweaking the slicer settings. I'm using the Anycubic Slicer since it's simple and straightforward and the default settings seem to work well for this printer. I've mostly been printing with PLA, but I've also printed a few things in PETG. I had to create a new filament profile for PETG in the slicer by changing the temperature settings to the recommended temps printed on the spool.
Really liking my Neo. Its my first printer and it has been really easy to use. I've had to learn a lot to be able to get nice prints but it all part of the journey. Thanks for the video there really isn't much coverage specifically for the neo at the moment. P.S. I had absolutely no issues with my Auto levelling. If I had your issue I would be stumped as I'm so new to 3d Printing
I bought the same printer from amazon UK. I didn't have any issues. Printed great out of the box. Waiting for another video after a while of testing. Subscribed!
I have a question! How do you calibrate the e steps for this printer? I got it and it’s printing, but I’m having trouble getting to run with cura and finding out how to fine tune it
Yes me too! I've been fiddling around with mine for a week and a bit. Finally getting really nice prints after watching so many generic videos and testing a tonnes of things. I've learnt a bunch but its nice to see someone specifically cover the k2 neo.
Neo, Kobra Plus, Kobra Max, has inputshaping BUT NOT "Kobra 2". Or maybe i am wrong. But they don't have that Ad Image in a specs about better quality with input shaping.
Bought this printer back in Feb '24 and just got around to assembling it Friday, 08/17/2024. Not my 1st 3d printer but I still consider myself a bit newish. This is the 1st one I have not had any issues whatsoever. Extremely easy to assemble, loaded filament, did bed calibration and printed the benchy and it came out perfect! I was amazed. No fiddling around with manual bed leveling. No troubleshooting whatsoever. I'm so pleased with it that this is now going to be my go to printer. I also have a KP3S Pro, which used to be my fav and an Anycubic Mega X.
By chance has anyone made a slicer profile on Cura for this printer? I've tried to follow their filament profile from the site but something seems missing. Can anyone help out?
Which one would be my best option besides kobra 2 neo? Sure, here are all the product names together: 1. **Official Creality Ender 3 3D Printer** 2. **Voxelab Aquila D1 3D Printer** 3. **Artillery Sidewinder X3 Pro 3D Printer** 4. **Official Creality Ender 3 V2 Neo 3D Printer** 5. **Creality Ender 3 V3 SE 3D Printer** 6. **ELEGOO Neptune 3 Pro FDM 3D Printer**
There would be know way to know the heartbreak is PTFE lined unless you take the toolhead apart like you did. That is a little scary. With as long as 3D Printers have been out now, I see no good reason for PTFE lined hearbreaks. The filament path should be all-metal from the extruder to the nozzle.
Im still waiting for mine😓😓 they are really slacking with shipping it seems, i ordered on September 9th didnt even get a shipping email yet😢 And yes i knew it was a preorder but i hoped it woupd come on October 2nd or something like that, not on October 10th...
Same here, even worse is that I could order it via Amazon prime and get it in a day, but they can’t ship out machines preordered over 5 weeks ago. Also kind of weird that there are barely any reviews of it. I regret not waiting for the Bambulab A1 mini.
I followed their guide for setting up Cura for the Neo 2 and I can barely get bed adhesion. But my prints work fine when I use the Anycubic slicer. I’m still trying to figure out why
If you scan the QR code on the printer it takes you to a more in depth guide on their site. When I read those instructions I found the E was for installing a filament run out detector
I am half-way watching the replay of this stream and I have to stop. There far are too many places corners were cut and/or things were forgotten or just left out.
@Hedgehogmakes have you found any other Slicer besides Prusa and Anycubic to work with the Neo? I tried their profile they provided for Cura however it just goes to the back right corner and extrudes filament for 2 minutes and then says print complete.
Don't buy it. Anycubic is incompetent in building 3d printers. They produce unrepairable propreitary shit. They have all metal hotend on Viper but instead they put the nonstandard semi-volcano crap with PTFE finishes in hotend (Are you kidding? ) which doesn't bring any value but make stuff worse, Non-standard heatblock, nozzle, heater , termistor, extruder. Poor display with limited functionality but graphical (O my Good! What a great achievement?) Did you see their jst 2.0 connectors instead of 2.54 on PCB already? They do all you not been able to replace their components with the one from other manufacture. The Anycubic Kobra 2 Neo was outdated 5 years ago.

Set up mine 6 months, just like the instructions manual and till today, didn't have any problems with my prints.. Pretty happy.
Just got mine today running damn near perfect in less than an hour after not getting a new printer in 4 years, very impressed.

I really like the way the toolhead attaches to the gantry! This is so right and other printer makers could take a clue here.
Which printer is the best in the range of $100-$200 probably $250 personally I have the kobra 2 neo
You are one of the 1st to make a video/stream about the neo
Ive had mine for two weeks and have been dying for someone who is better than me with FDM to make a video with some tips and tricks on the K2 Neo lol

mine said that leveling was abnormal but it did not level it and kept puncturing the board so now I have to get a replacement

I've got the same pronter, I'm having problems with "starting layer blobs" can anyone help me to solve?
Нужно для начала проверить шаги экструдера, это сделали?
If possible to use .8 Nozzle in this printer
Waiting for your reply
Конечно можно, производительности хватит, только нужно будет работать не на максимальной скорости

It is the shittiest 3D printer ever, super bad experience with it.
