Back in the 80's my uncle who was at the time with the SANDF was at a riot. One of the rioters threw a rock which struck him on the shoulder he proceeded to pick it up and return the rock which knocked the rioters unconscious. He was arrested immediately apparently its okay to shoot at the rioters but not to throw rocks back.
Rioters are scum. This country is backwards. If you riot your the exact same thing as a terrorist. No I'm not changing my damn mind.
Did he definitely hit the same rioter who was responsible, and could the police see that? Because if the police just see a soldier flinging rocks into the crowd, that's WAY out of line, and needs to be stopped. Bullets generally only fly once tear gas, rubber bullets and water canons have failed, so you're very rarely allowed to shoot rioters.

If there's one thing the higher ups in policing don't like it, it's police walking around breaking rules, and for good reason. It can cost them money, time, influence, and everything inbetween. When police do stupid stuff, they tend to take the fall. Sometimes they don't, but you could say the same for any criminal group.

Ceramic floor tiles from home depot, fiberglass cloth and fiberglass resin. Easier to do if you build up a little wooden jig to shape it then put it in a vice or something else with a great amount of constant pressure for a day and there you go.
