Thank you so much for such an enjoyable video! I am your subscriber for quite long time, and was very happy to see you in our country. And here is some useful information for you and your followers: I would say, that sanctions influenced Belarus in about 50% of what has Russia 😄. I would recommend you to open a bank account not in the bank where you did it, but at Prior Bank. Google Adsense works perfectly exactly with this Belarusian Bank 🙂. And we speak Belarusian language mostly in villages now.
I hope you enjoyed our country! If you need any help in future in Belarus, definitely contact me 🤗🤗🤗🇧🇾

      Hi!
You can open a card at Tinkoff Bank,- it’s an online bank and they will deliver a card to you on the next day. However you won’t be able to transfer money to this account from ANY western banks, as Swift doesn’t work in Russia. You can bring cash and put it on this card. Visa and MasterCard issued by non-Russian banks also will not work in Russia.
      I hope it helped😊

If you log in to the account, can u access it on line from Russia? What about if you are in Europe or the States, can you access it from there? At one time I believe you mentioned you were engaged to an American citizen. What is the Status of your visa application? My wife is from Belarus. I know how they process these type of visas and I am sure you have run into a slight problem. Mostly they process them in Poland, which I am sure you can't travel to. If that is the case there is a work around. Let me know if this is the case and I can give you some details on what to do.

Minsk has cleaned up and modernized a lot since I lived there 30 years ago (1993-95) as a Fulbright Fellow. I saw a couple of scenes that I had painted and are hanging in my house in the mountains above the past (2002) and future (2034) Olympic City of Salt Lake. I did notice that my favorite summer afternoon lounging spot around the lake at Comsomolsk Park as been polluted with the Russian and Iranian Embassies. I'll bet all of the regular park-goers bugged out as well. Who wants a creepy bearded guy ogling through binoculars at one's innocent little self?
While Old Town Minsk is small, that was all that was left after the Great War. Sveta, you should have gone into the red Catholic Church and taken some video if the babuski would let you. The decoration is eye-catching. The twin-tower Orthodox Church is beautiful as well. Therre are other little churches that are beautiful as well, like the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Out in the country outside Minsk, there are cultural places of intrigue including the Jacuba Kolasa museum and a place 40 miles south of Minsk in the forest ('d have to look the name up on a map) where there are totem poles set up in the forest, which would be of particular interest to some Alaskan natives. The Olympic training center is of cultural interest. The mass graves at Zeleoni Lug (Kurypaty) are historic. The monument at Khatyn memorializing the massacres of civilians in 1941-45 haunt the souls of humanity. The European Bison and Cuckoo flocks in Belavezhskaya Pushcha National Park were of particular interest to me. Therre are a few castles converted to sanitoria along the Polish border.
There are lots of interesting places in Belarus. It just takes some time to get around to them all.
