Excellent video, I'll be showing my university students this as an example of a model answer. Short and to the point, many of the speakers in IELTS videos tend to overindulge and take and talk and talk. I'm very grateful for the subtitles as I like to give my student's transcripts. Thank you.
None beats your videos!!!! Short video but full of good language for this, as I told you before, I never get bored watching such valuable videos. You are the best!!!! Thank you Jay & Chris :)
You can use rich language IF it is natural. You can use complex sentences IF they are correct. Many students try too hard to impress the examiner. Try to keep it more simple and natural, tell a story.
it was helpful thank you.

Tremendously helpfull video as well as the way how to tackle with questions in speaking exam.
Thanks Punnet for the kind words. Remember in the speaking test, just tell a story - try to be natural.
Could we use rich vocabulary and complex structures in speaking exam or just simple words and simple sentences to be natural??

You could try italki.com
Thank you IELTS Daily Courses :)
I have a question?
During the cue card answer, sir said an indigenous word more than 6-7 time is it makes a bad impact on the examiner?
Tou look like lionel messi
I think he didn't answer the question "who you went with?" or I missed it?
It is a common mistake to think you have to answer all parts of the cue card. You do not have to answer all the 3/4 questions.
IELTS Daily Courses I didn’t know, thank u
Is is neccessary to use some idiomatic vocabulary in the exam? because I didn't see any idiom in the speech. Thank u
"strength and gravity of a situation" is an example of a binomial. This is idiomatic. He also uses phrasal verbs which are idiomatic.
@@IELTSDaily This is great. Thanks for pointing that out
