  • Sūrat al-Fajr (Arabic: سورة الفجر‎, "The First light", "Dawn") is the eighty-10th part (sura) of the Quran with 30 verses.[1] The sura portrays annihilation of doubting people groups: the Old Egyptians, individuals of Iram of the Points of support, and Mada'in Saleh. It censures the individuals who love abundance and look with scorn upon poor people and vagrants. Exemplary individuals are guaranteed Heaven - the last refrain says "And enter you My Heaven!". The Surah is so assigned after the word wal-fajr with which it opens.[2]
