раньше я слушала рок и металл. но в один момент поняла что делаю что-то не так. начала слушать суры, под конец месяца покрылась и стала уделять больше внимания исламу, начала читать намаз, это еще и Рамадан был. я всегда была мусульманкой, но в тот момент что-то пошло под откос, я верила в Аллаха, но была не покрытая и слушала эту музыку шайтана. сейчас я прослушиваю те песни по которым я тащилась, и понимаю, насколько они тяжелые и по переводу и по звучанию, для подростков и их еще не окрепшей психики не подходят. только сидела слушала, такая тяжесть на душе, включила суру и все хорошо, легче стало, аж слезы пошли. какие же люди грешные, о Аллах прости нас, спасибо тебе что я мусульманка. пусть Аллах защитит наших братьев и сестер в Палестине.

i’ve been severely depressed since 4 years. i lost all my friends and family because i didn’t have the energy to maintain relationships and i’m truly alone. i have no hobbies, no desire to live, no one in my life that i can consider a friend, even my parents. every time i think it cant get worse it does. i’m truly alone and i dont see any hope. every single dua i make for companionship and happiness goes unanswered. i dont consider suicide but i also dont see the point in living life and im not even in my 20’s yet. please pray for my mental health and for me to find even one true friend.

salaam, ive been struggling with such a situation for a few years now. I really struggle to maintain mental stability and relationships with other people and this 'cloud' of depression seems to come and go, each time seemingly heavier when it comes. suicide is also something i don't ever consider, because what happens after death and eternity is also one of the topics which feed my anxiety and hopelessness in this situation. I really hope we and others facing this struggle find ourselves in a healthier state soon Insha'Allah. My advice for now would be just keep maintaining your salah and sit down after each prayer and spill your heart out to Allah SWT. Try to do the things which really keep you happy even if your in the state of mind where you don't have the energy. Just remember that hard times have passed before and they will pass again, and instead of seeing each time as a knockdown - rather understand that you have been able to overcome so much and each time you are stronger. As I write this, I feel as if I'm giving the advice to myself also, I think the one thing that is comfort to us is to know that we are not alone, and I would like anyone who is reading this to know that they can reply to this, and get things off their chest, rather than keeping it to themselves. If you feel like you do not have a friend to speak to, please know that someone out there is battling with the same situation as you just waiting for someone to speak to them. May Allah SWT bless us and strengthen our imaan.

Alhumdollillah you are still young. You can build back some relationships if you wish especially with your parents. Always be honest and let them know how you feel. You say that you have no hobbies? Join a local club . Either a sports club ? A lot of mosques have clubs. If you can, try and make friends at the local mosque. You have your whole life ahead of you, contact those who want contact but are unable to do so. The elderly or very sick would always appreciate your company InshAllah.

Mashallah, I too plan to quit music completely. Its so addictive but it almost like a fake perception of reality, it makes you feel things that are fake, and when the music ends you feel sad. At least thats what I felt but with Qur'an the spiritual feeling you get is so nice and never goes away
This surah always moves me to tears. I struggle with my faith a lot, but I truly wouldn't be able to survive the hardships in this dunya without my connection to Allah swt. As this blessed month of Ramadan is nearing an end, I'm feeling so remorseful because I didn't reach the goals I set for myself and I know I could've used these days better. I'm also afraid I'll go back to my careless ways right after. Listening to this helps me get in touch with my deen again. May Allah guide us all

Having my worst phase of life, it's 5.16 am. I can't even sleep because of overthinking neither I'm able to express myself to anyone! And lastly I'm playing this Surah because my mom said once this is a mind relaxing surah❤ In Sha Allah I'll heal soon.

When i do not sleep well, i usually wake up and pray 2 rakaa. I had my count of insomnia and sleepless nights b4 and after my mom's death in February 2023 (lung infection complicated by liver cirrhosis and diabetis) Allahi lahma.
Everything will get better sister InshaAllah.... verily in Allah's rembrance we find peace❤️
