Eddie's high school sounds SOOO much like mine and I'm loving it, and everyone else's reaction to it. went to public school - my elementary was 0830 to 1345 ( 1:45 ) everyday - going from that to getting out of school at 1610 sometimes -1730 in high school was disgusting
Younger kids start later so either older siblings or an adult/parent are home in time to get them off the bus. That’s how my school district was anyway
Worst was blazer and tie after sports. After practice to go back into the school from the locker room we had to change back into button down blazer and tie. Could not leave the locker room in anything else.
We also could get detention if you didn’t wear a belt, didn’t button your top button, didn’t wear polishable shoes and your hair touched your back collar.
