What I like most about this doorbell is I got it free from my brother. He said the doorbell looked like Michael Douglas's mobile phone from the film Wall Street. It's massive! Don't go thinking it's compact like the Ring doorbell.

Great video! I keep getting notifications on my iPhone for every motion detected which is a bit annoying! I have the motion detect quite high as I want to basically be recording for everything, as I live on a busy road. How do I turn the notifications off for every motion detected but for the camera to still record? I have tried turning notifications off on my settings and on the app, but I don’t get notified when someone rings the door

I'll be getting this very soon. I was thinking of putting it on my door itself rather than the side because I was afraid it might not see the full view when someone is at the door but I might actually opt for the side now that I have seen this video because looking at it here and where you have placed it on the side, like a normal doorbell, the view seems wide enough anyway, it seems to catch a lot. I take it the peripheral view is quite wide then?

CAn you disable the alarm notification on your phone when someone rings the doorbell, BUT keep it on to alert you only for motion detection?

Just got one of these from my parents.
They got me a ring doorbell 3 for my front door and this XTU doorbell for the back door……I prefer the XTU, as it’s got a slightly better viewing angle and it’s 1440p instead of the 1080p of the ring 3.
It can also take an SD card.
So when someone rings the doorbell it will ring on your phone. What if someone else is home but you are at work. You then have to call home to tell them someone is at the door?????
In US these are Mubview J9 and J7.
My additional family user doesn't have an alarm on his app ? Help Please
I bought one of these and it was great, however i seems to have an issue now! In app the cameras says its not detected anything and NO vifeos recorded! However when i changed the sdcard as I thought it was may be an issue with that I found lots of videos that had been recorded. But the app said it had NOT recorded anything! I uninstalled the App and reset the camera but still same issue! :( Strange
Worked initially (with no alarm area set) and then gave up. I reset it and recharged it to 100% but nothing.
However I'm confused. Every other demonstration says that on the motion detection area, you mark the areas where you DO want the motion to be detected. This video says you mark the areas where you DON'T want motion to be detected. I'm not understanding obviously.
I've tried both but I never get an alarm. All notifications allowed and set correctly. Sensitivity on high. All permissions allowed. Full WiFi signal.
Returned it and got another - same problem!
You can go on your mobile phone settings and go to the app and make sure notifications are turned on (your phone settings might be the issue)
what does the button on the end of the device do ??

Mine says to download clouddot I've had it for over a year. It's charged but won't connect. I've always have it on 5g it won't connect now.

Bet you don't know how to make your phone alert with a sound instead of a vibration when someone rings the doorbell. Also how do you get alarms both vibration and sound on your phone on this thing?????

Yes to powering off the doorbell. The cloud recording you will see up to the point when the doorbell is turned off. Same for the sd card storage apart from you won’t be able to view the footage until the doorbell is powered back on (when recording to the sd card)

I haven’t had that happen to me yet. Do you have the chime to go with the doorbell? (that takes battery’s) or do you mean sounds from the app?

How do you change the WiFi from 5G to 2G
Split them in your router settings it's easy. Then connect your mobile to the 2.4 network and set device up. Once set up you can either;
1. Pair the 2 and 5 networks in your router. Reconnect mobile. You will be able to control doorbell through app.
2. Keep networks split between 2 and 5. Reconnect mobile to faster 5 network. You will be able to control doorbell through app. This is what I do - keep the 2 and 5 networks split. I have a lot of smart home deviices

You can change Sd card, you may need to format the new SD card on the sd card is in the doorbell camera you’ll still have the old footage on your sd card your taking out
Hi , just got the J9 yesterday. Very disappointed with the motion detection. It's only detecting when person is right outside door or to the very right of the screen.
Have you tired changing the sensitivity in the settings ? And maybe give the sensor a clean

Formatting the Sd card will remove ALL footage.
Mine never starts recording when somebody’s at the gate ( Gates 7 meters in front of the camera . It always starts recording when they are right in front of the camera or walking away . I’m I doing something wrong

Yeah.
I’ve got one of these at my back door and a ring doorbell out front.
Very easy to install and set up as well.
All it involves, is measuring 1.2m from the base of your door, marking it making sure your mark is level, then the bottom of the doorbell sits on the mark you made…..you have like 3 or 4 screws to fit and that’s it done.
The app set up of this doorbell, just involves you downloading the app, then you get a QR code on your screen, that you put up to the doorbell camera to scan and thats you done.
The battery on this doorbell lasts for ages as well.
Had mine in continuous operation for 2 months and I’m only at 82% battery charge.

This door bell only picks up when you walk away and not as you walk up drive. Picks all cars passing drive .not recommended
