Lightning Rod Mace, summons lightning during thunderstorms. Just something to think about.
I hope they don't add a damage cap to the mace, if anything they should just make the damage scale a bit less with fall distance (so that you need to fall from higher to deal the same damage)
yep! maybe they could even make it a logarithmic scale, so for example for each +5 damage you'd need to fall twice the amount of blocks or something. But a damage cap would just be boring!
Idk man, being able to one shot literally anything (granted, with some setup (mainly being get high > fall > profit)) is rather overpowered. It shouldn't be nerfed into the ground, maybe a 3-5 max hits to kill a warden, but 1-hit K.O.-ing anything whilst flying around in an elytra with a totem of dying in your offhand incase you mess up doesn't sit well with me in terms of balance. Not entirely an issue for singleplayer, but multiplayer would be terrible
@@OneCokeAndDrink Trying to land hits for such high distances is not very practical in the first place though: discounting the fact that the timing would have a decent skill ceiling, things like the Wither can move around quickly, and players can simply look up and use all the time in the world to avoid you. As for Wardens, for one trying to do this in a cave is rather difficult, and killing 1 Warden is completely useless. Unless someone where to find a glitch to exploit the damage accumulation more often, the only way I can see it being abused is through Elytra MLG or some trolling, but other than that it would be best to use it on short to medium falls
There needs to be like a shock enchantment allowing the mace to do damage to mobs around the target like a shock effect, like sweeping edge but it goes damage more and in a 360 degree around the target. Or even a stun enchantment that does the same thing but stun targets around the hit mob.
i honestly think the mace should have more functionality especially when its made wirh an item called the "Heavy Core". like that's so badass! maybe you can infuse the heavy core with something before crafting the mace! an anvil would make it do what it currently does, blaze powder would make it shoot a fireball by right clicking, redstone would make it strike with more damage, etc etc!
I think it should have an enchantment. Like impact or fast falling making the attack radius bigger and descending faster making it only be held by players with fast reflexes
should be consistend with the trident, 2d sprite but 3d when you have it in your hand. Would be cool to have this be a thing of the alternative weapons in the game
I really hope this doesn’t get nerfed. It’s so hard to get that it deserves to be powerful. If anything, I think it could be more useful. I think allowing Unbreaking and Mending on it would be totally fair.
I really hope they dont nerf it aswell. We could use a viable alternative to just sword and axe. This one is gimmicky but offers alot more power. Nerfing it would just make it not worth running over a sword. Yet people complain that its overpowered
If they do go the route of nerfing it i think the best option would be adding a new enchantment that makes the strength scaling of the mace stronger and reduce how strong it is normally. Aka add a new enchantment that gives it the power it currently has and make the base unechanted mace weaker
Down in the deep Where the dragon used to sleep Glorious gold Glimmers in our home of old Dark as the night Where the day has lost its light When the hammer falls When the hammer falls And it sounds through the halls When the hammer falls Freeing treasures from the walls When the hammer strikes And the kingdom comes to life When the hammer pounds Like the thunder underground When the hammer falls When the hammer falls Of legend and myth Is the craft of the smith The molten metal poured And pounded into sword From the fire is made Every dwarven axe and blade When the hammer falls When the hammer falls Forging weapons for all When the hammer falls Songs of battle fill the halls When the hammer flies Lines of armored dwarves arise With the hammer's roar We go marching off to war When the hammer falls When the hammer falls The orcs came to our land And we fought them hand to hand Sweat and blood Turned the groud to mud Dwarf and orc in strife Sought to vanquish every life When the hammer falls When the hammer falls Back our enemy crawls When the hammer quakes Orc-ish cowards bones will break When the hammer cracks And it beats their armies back When the hammer's boom Sends the monsters to their doom When the hammer falls When the hammer falls When the hammer falls Then our victory calls When the hammer falls Songs of glory fill the halls When the hammer flies Mighty heroes now arise With the hammer's sound Live the dwarves down underground When the hammer falls When the hammer falls
Idea: damage to the weapon also scales with height Additional requirement Introduce an special enchantment that saves the weapon if the damage is too much (like sturdy in Pokemon). Except there are max amount of damage it can safely protect from if its at level one. Level three should be where its unlimited. That enchantment should only work if the mace is at full durability. Unbreaking shouldn't be able to work on it, while mending should work. Alternatively to the enchanment, a totem of undying could be used to save the weapon from being destroyed. Same restrictions as said before.
I think the concept is extremely good, but it just needs some balancing. I think it should be +3 damage per block instead of +5, and it should have a damage cap of 17 for normal mobs, maybe 20 or 25 for bosses, including the warden. Maybe it should negate 80% fall damage, so you still take a little bit of damage, but I think at least the damage cap is nessessary.
So to be clear: We have a weapon that deals damage scaling with air speed. We also have an item that functions as a rocket jump, capable of propelling us high and fast. I'm gonna make a market gardener montage in minecraft.
I stopped following Minecraft stuff for a few months a little while ago and now I’m coming back to what feels like a completely different game and I’m wondering what the hell happened while I was gone

3:54 POV kamikaze plane:
OR
Damage hight reducer multiplys DEPENDING ON HIGHT
@@OneCokeAndDrink Trying to land hits for such high distances is not very practical in the first place though: discounting the fact that the timing would have a decent skill ceiling, things like the Wither can move around quickly, and players can simply look up and use all the time in the world to avoid you. As for Wardens, for one trying to do this in a cave is rather difficult, and killing 1 Warden is completely useless.
Unless someone where to find a glitch to exploit the damage accumulation more often, the only way I can see it being abused is through Elytra MLG or some trolling, but other than that it would be best to use it on short to medium falls
imo they should make it rarer than it already is
There needs to be like a shock enchantment allowing the mace to do damage to mobs around the target like a shock effect, like sweeping edge but it goes damage more and in a 360 degree around the target.
Or even a stun enchantment that does the same thing but stun targets around the hit mob.

i honestly think the mace should have more functionality especially when its made wirh an item called the "Heavy Core". like that's so badass! maybe you can infuse the heavy core with something before crafting the mace! an anvil would make it do what it currently does, blaze powder would make it shoot a fireball by right clicking, redstone would make it strike with more damage, etc etc!

oh brother can't wait for those "insane clutch videos" that will come with the mace.
Minecraft should add a mob that shoots you with a gun and calls you "chucklenuts"
I think it should have an enchantment. Like impact or fast falling making the attack radius bigger and descending faster making it only be held by players with fast reflexes

I really hope this doesn’t get nerfed. It’s so hard to get that it deserves to be powerful. If anything, I think it could be more useful. I think allowing Unbreaking and Mending on it would be totally fair.
It's like a mod tho 💀
@@HackerZac so were horses
@THTB_lol oh yes and pistons

Glimmers in our home of old
Dark as the night
Where the day has lost its light
When the hammer falls

And it sounds through the halls
When the hammer falls
Freeing treasures from the walls
When the hammer strikes
And the kingdom comes to life
When the hammer pounds
Like the thunder underground

Of legend and myth
Is the craft of the smith
The molten metal poured
And pounded into sword
From the fire is made
Every dwarven axe and blade

When the hammer falls
Songs of battle fill the halls
When the hammer flies
Lines of armored dwarves arise
With the hammer's roar
We go marching off to war

The orcs came to our land
And we fought them hand to hand
Sweat and blood
Turned the groud to mud
Dwarf and orc in strife
Sought to vanquish every life

Back our enemy crawls
When the hammer quakes
Orc-ish cowards bones will break
When the hammer cracks

When the hammer falls

Trolldier in Minecraft
Idea: damage to the weapon also scales with height
Additional requirement
Introduce an special enchantment that saves the weapon if the damage is too much (like sturdy in Pokemon).

Mace + Strength 2 + Jump boost 2 = Immortal
I think the concept is extremely good, but it just needs some balancing. I think it should be +3 damage per block instead of +5, and it should have a damage cap of 17 for normal mobs, maybe 20 or 25 for bosses, including the warden. Maybe it should negate 80% fall damage, so you still take a little bit of damage, but I think at least the damage cap is nessessary.

it should be like the trident where the item in the inventory slot/dropped is 2d but the item in your actual hand is 3d
5:07 More math! 🤓 🧮 🏫
There is another 3D weapon in the game - tridents
The Trident is nothing special.
It's one pixel thick, just like the sword, pickaxe, and every item in the game.
The difference with the Mace is it is crafted from a block, so the head seems kinda weird to be represented in a one-pixel thick texture.
@@Jansenbaker That's fair I see your point, I was just pointing out that phoenix said that all weapons in the game are pixelated/2D and even though the trident is 1 pixel thick, it's still notably a 3D model different to its 2D pixelated inventory icon, that's all
Couldn’t you use a charge so you have fall damage negation so if you miss then you can still live, then elytra and rocket back up, the only limit to your damage would be build height
