Transiting Panama Canal is on every sailor's bucket list- and for the Oyster World Rally 2024-25 fleet, their dreams have become a reality. One of the most complex marine transits in the world, the canal takes you from the tropical Caribbean Sea to the South Pacific Ocean, requiring high levels of confidence, expertise and support.
Alongside the Panama Canal Authority, the Oyster World Rally Team assisted the fleet before and during the transit. Before assembling in Shelter Bay Marina at the top of the canal, the Rally Support team gathered paperwork organised visa requirements and worked with the Canal Authority time slots for yacht measuring ahead of the transit.
