Great video! It's definitely a rush sitting behind the wheel of our 3.0 puller. But that looks like one hell of a bumpy ride, can't say I've ever been on a track that bad. Lol.
as far as the shifter im not sure his exact make but the same kind would be a b&m magnum pro. just a manual valve body you change the gears. not a ratchet shifter
damn it i really wanna know what kinda shifter that is? its obviously a ratchet shifter of some type but its tall, built for a truck and i need one just like it............
nice pull u got it in third and didn't loose much boost makes me want to pack up my 12 valve and move down south New England truck pullers dnt take it very serious
i'm a duramax guy myself but i know very people who can say they don't respect the cummins power plant, very nice set up you've got there, ever get her dynoed?
oh and my truck rides like that without having to pull anything and unloaded okay so maybe not that bad but its rough and its annoying hopefully i can get it fixed
yea, I'm guessing they didnt feel like removing the old shifter.....But its still an auto. If it was a manual it would be extremely difficult to shift while pulling a sled thats equivalent to 10's of thousands of pounds. And if I'm not mistaken its against the rules to shift a manual during the pull.
I stop by here every now and again just to watch and listen
This is one of the sweetest videos I have seen in a while love it!

Should'a gotten the tow mirrors out, would have gained an extra 15 feet.
amazing video, love the shifter, turbo chatter at end, just sick
Love how the truck rises 2-3 inch right before he takes off cool!
Still the best in-cab pulling video ever made.
Man that gave me the chills kid!! Good job
i love the turbo sound at the end of every pull
im glad i watched this! awesome truck, awesome video!
DAMN GOOD PULL!!!! Sweet rig man
you guys stayed right across from us last year in terra haute, definately a cool video and hope to see you down there again this year!
One Hell of a ride!!! Great pull!!!
that truck. holy shit. all the gauges and switches. amazing!!!
Same 47RE trans that came in it but built to the max with billet internals, very light trans that can handle more power then anything else out there.
@06cummins I am a chevyguy, but I gotta say that your pullin rig is bad ass! Great in-cab video man!
Nice Man! Thats a sick Cummins!
Awesome run man
very nice my man! looked like a bumpy ride.. but a fun one! and one beast of a cummins!
god damn that shit is rough as hell lol sounds awesome too!!
what transmission you have?
I'd love to know the details on the transmision and the shifter setup im looking to do something similar for my driver thanks
thats the coolest video ive ever seen
awsome in cab vid!!!!!!
what a great video.......good pull
Sweet man!
cool vid, nice pull
@12VCTD
Sounds like a manual shift auto to me too!
Nice rig!
That's one wicked truck
@TheWunyjo Im pretty sure its still an auto, it just has a manual valve body on it with the shifter up through the floor for more control.
damn. that was awesome. cant believe you arent required to wear a helmet. that seems like a serious setup you have there.
what was all the switches for???
what kinda numbers are you pushin? also what is done with your trans? and whos manual valve body are you using?
thats quite mad. so thats what its like to sit in a monster!!! what a rush!!
Awsome! What you have done to the auto trans. I like the ratchet shifter :headbang:
Were did you get the tach. on the steering colum from?
what kind of manual valvebody is that?
what are those switches for?
what are those switches for that you flipped?
as far as the shifter im not sure his exact make but the same kind would be a b&m magnum pro. just a manual valve body you change the gears. not a ratchet shifter
I wonder how long those blocks last in the pulls
what are the kill switches on the dash for and what kind of shifter is that?
hey man seen ya at tollesboro this year. got the truck running pretty good
What transmission is in that?
what kinda of trans? and shifter?
what rpm is the tach hovering at in the vid
That looks like it must be hell. But f*cking AWESOME!
@06cummins hey im just curious are you running a rachet or a gate shifter. It looks like a B&M ratchet but its hard to tell
if you dont mind me asking what is the gearshifter for...that your shifting with...never seen an automatic like that before?
what brand of ratchet shifter is that
Dude, that was fuckin awesome. Hell of a pull!
what do the switches do?
Diggin the monster energy kawasaki sweatshirt!
how did you rig the manual valve body? Im thinking about doing to same thing. wanna share some wiring diagrams with me :D
damn it i really wanna know what kinda shifter that is? its obviously a ratchet shifter of some type but its tall, built for a truck and i need one just like it............
what do thoses buttens do that it pushed
@06cummins wat shifter and trans you runnin?
What's he shiftin with
the blocks are fine, its the pistons and push rods you want to watch out for
Very cool.
What are those red switchers ?
How many HP does your engine have ? thx =)
Sweet!!!
what camera you use? sound quality is great
1:15 the best part when the torque rises the truck up and the the shit gets real!!!!!
yeah ditto. its an automatic but you shift it with a stick? thats cool, be handy for plowin snow up here in NY
What are all those switches for man??? Looks like the flight deck of a 747!! SO SICK!!!
I guess I'm not familiar with these can someone please explain to me why there is a floor shifter?
This guy is a googly bear❤
So how did he use reverse?
thats sick
It has a manual. Notice how the auto lever is in the park position the whole time?
what kind of ratchet shifter is that?
That was a damn rough ride
pretty sweet but i wanna take powerstroke to ah pull one day how boost and horsepower u makin.
nice! My boy has the same shifter. What size Turbo? Built motor?
you build that pickup yourself?....
It looks like a full manual valvebody on a 47RE automatic. The stick he is using controls gear change.
fuckin awesome! thanks for the video
@thedodgecummins Hey its a auto tranny (probly billet proof) with some manuel valvebodies..he has to just push it in so it goes in gear.
Damn nice
nice pull u got it in third and didn't loose much boost makes me want to pack up my 12 valve and move down south New England truck pullers dnt take it very serious
+Victoria Hayward lol very true. at my fair in VT 6 trucks showed up 2 of which were stock newer ones (6.7 powerstroke and a LML DMAX)
There actually is a wastegate.. (depending on turbo) but yes cummins have wastegates just no blow off valves!
So is that an electronic shifter? :o
This looks interesting, kinda makes me want to build a pulling truck now
***** Manual valve body 47RH i believe
Jordan Ulbrich No question it's manual valve body, but didn't RFE series transmissions come behind these engines?
Nope 47RE or 47RH Chris Wilson
i'm a duramax guy myself but i know very people who can say they don't respect the cummins power plant, very nice set up you've got there, ever get her dynoed?
centrifugal clutch I believe
YEEE HAW!!!
gotta love a ppump
That truck is a 98.5 and newer interior therefore it would have a 24vlave with a vp44 injection pump just saying
Get some!
your check engine light is on man, LOL
Hey does your Dad word down at Southern States in Frkfrt?
Sounds p-pumped?
Horrible place for a Tach.....
i cant tell if that's a manual or automatic with the way he was shifting. But nice vid partner!
oh man that turbo bark fuckin hurts!!
deffinitly sounds p-pumped. shes spinnin some RPM's
oh and my truck rides like that without having to pull anything and unloaded okay so maybe not that bad but its rough and its annoying hopefully i can get it fixed
i have a cummins and i love pullin but damn drag racing (cars) is a lot more fun lol
He makes it looks easy. It isn't
Nice pull!
Yes it is LOL
