Un court extrait des Accélérations de camions de St-Joseph-de-Beauce édition 2010. A short videoclip of "Accélérations de camions de St-Joseph-de-Beauce 2010".
Thanks. BTW on the next edition you will better feel the noise of the trucks. Mics will be installed along the track. I did it last year but the sound man was a third party guy and he was sleeping on the job. This year our company will drive the video sound quality...
@FaisalAMuttaqin a tração desses caminhões é 6x4? aqui no brasil ainda ñ é muito comum esse tipo de tração.........aqui ainda se usa muito a 4x2..........
@DuraToTheMaxxx Just checked with the organizer. In 2010 the weight was 45,000 Lbs and this weight was in the middle of the trailer to prevent Crank Shaft break... In 2009 the weight was 50,000 Lbs and was much more at the front. So, they had too many shaft broken and they corrected it the year after.
@sledheadchris Just letting you know, this vid might be in French, but it was filmed just to our north in Quebec Canada. The town is, I believe, called Camions and this happens every year. look it up
@brianandjeri the flames are not from "sheer power" technically.... they are from the exhaust gasses getting hot enough to ignite all that excess fuel (smoke) that's coming out of the exhaust... you're just seeing the fuel igniting
I don't know JACK about 18 wheelers so don't laugh at my question please. But why do the trucks always seem to lift and or pull to the left when they launch?
@3406Ecaterpillar Yes it's a work truck, but with a different setup for race. He change the injectors, turbo, some other parts and a ECU flash from a boat setup!!
well ive seen these truck work but not with the same engine calibration and yes its a kind or their toy they wont sell those. they also back up by their compagny like vincent couture being one of transport couture owner...
@BAwithBALLS no need to get cocky mate, i know the euro trucks use a lot less, my dad's truck is an MAN and it goes from melbourne to adelaide and back 3 times before it needs some juice, but with the trucks i've been working on like the ISX and the ISX EGR they use quite a bit. thats just from my experiences. it also has to do with your gears how many you have and what ratios you have, etc etc. euro 5 is a lot better, but i still prefer my dads old truck which was a louisville.
@thematt89 this year thoses guys are around 2400hp and they said they are not to far from the double in torque (I can't wait .......just 2 week to wait!!!!)
@BAwithBALLS ours doesnt even run adblue, its got a huge shoebox for a muffler, but you're right Yanks are definatly light years behind, i mean all you had to do is look at our XR Falcon range and well you get the idea :)
@BAwithBALLS your average truck will use something like 2.5 litres per km mate :) so chewing fuel comes naturally for something thats 12 litres or bigger :)
idk about right side truck but the pete on left has a c15 cat, obviously not stock from what i heard its putting out somewhere north of 2500 hp the most impressive are the 200000 lb trailer tows [3 flatbeds or lumber] theres videos of that truck twisting the frame so hard off the line it lifts the left front tire 3 ft off of the ground wild to watch lol
Actually COGAS black truck is his work truck, its puttin out 1200hp Ive heard but it could be puttin out more. That is the meanest work truck I have ever seen. lol
Now for someone trying to sound so educated, apparently you must require flashcards and an instructional DVD to explain that TYPING 'talk to the hand" and expecting the person who is reading that to actually follow through on your "request" is actually quite impossible. Then again consdering you likely needed Google to create such a comeback and the failed execution of that come back shows the intell level of who we are dealing with.
i was having the crappyiest of crappy days and said imma go watch some crap on youtube, i watched this and my day was better!
Thanks. BTW on the next edition you will better feel the noise of the trucks. Mics will be installed along the track. I did it last year but the sound man was a third party guy and he was sleeping on the job. This year our company will drive the video sound quality...
Nicely Done!! looked like a lot of fun for the crowd watching the event as well!
Who still here in 2020?? One if the best races ever hands down 👍🏻
2021
AWESOME!! 😆🔥🚛🤟🏾🥳
They need to bring this sport to the U.S!
The liberals in California and Al Gore would shit down both legs
when you chose one day shipping......
one day shiping =hauling ass
you Sir made my day!
Wow! this looks like an amazing sport
this is better then real drag racing cause this takes some REAL skill to drive one of these trucks and shift as fast as they have to its amazing
St-Joseph-de-Beauce, Québec Canada
thank you :)
ive never seen anything like it, Madness!
“To order a DVD of the event”
man i miss those times 😂
@FaisalAMuttaqin a tração desses caminhões é 6x4? aqui no brasil ainda ñ é muito comum esse tipo de tração.........aqui ainda se usa muito a 4x2..........
0:50 look that exhausts!
The pipes of hell.
Does anyone know of they have to beef up the driveshaft to do this? I would think that an OEM driveshaft would twist right in half.
IMPRECUONANTE ESTOS CARRRASOS
I wish we had this in north America... On our highways!
@DuraToTheMaxxx Just checked with the organizer. In 2010 the weight was 45,000 Lbs and this weight was in the middle of the trailer to prevent Crank Shaft break... is there a web site to fallow these races? Is there any dvds out there to buy?
@sledheadchris Just letting you know, this vid might be in French, but it was filmed just to our north in Quebec Canada. The town is, I believe, called Camions and this happens every year. look it up
How long is the Track, is it uphill, and what time did they reach?
Awesome. I guess that's where the term holey smokes comes from. They make a 30 second 1/4 mile look fast.
why do they twist like that.. is there more power distribution to the left side?
what engine is in this vincent truck
sweet race
Are such trucks also used for normal transport? Don't think so. ;)
fcking awesome! where i can download this dvd?) do u know?
@brianandjeri the flames are not from "sheer power" technically.... they are from the exhaust gasses getting hot enough to ignite all that excess fuel (smoke) that's coming out of the exhaust... you're just seeing the fuel igniting
The guy on losing truck was probably like "WTF, HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO COMPETE WITH A F***ING VOLCANO" (THE FIRE)
are this trucks still for normal use too?
Do you know anything about the girl reporter? What is HER name?
Thanks for video!
sooo... which type of catalysator is in these things?
just imagine if one of those tires blew in the begining. FATALITY!
someone knows how long it takes to accelerate from 0 to 50?
Thanks!
i don´t got it.... are they fast or strong? or what? that was not an 1/8 mile...
0:50 the best part seeing pyro flames from the stacks
@zaco03 Yes they are but there is no heavy black smoke on exhaust when they work...
Is it me are these trucks look alot like? bodystyle ect, this a team race?
Are these trucks everyday drivers ?
how many horse power those trucks has?
18 sec. at 46 mph. for this one. The track is 900 feet long and yes, it's uphill i don't know the exact degree but it's a serious hill...
Steve.
This is Quebec and not Texas?!
only
I don't know JACK about 18 wheelers so don't laugh at my question please. But why do the trucks always seem to lift and or pull to the left when they launch?
@3406Ecaterpillar
Yes it's a work truck, but with a different setup for race. He change the injectors, turbo, some other parts and a ECU flash from a boat setup!!
Whew! I think I need a slow motion instant replay.
what horse power do they have ?
The torque produced by the engine twists the body.
I honestly missed the truck taking off at the beginning. :D
They are here! They love it!
estan chidas esos arrencones estan al 100
Where is this located
it just shows how much unburnt fuels come out the exhaust it caught fire
Haha holy shit, the power from that motor looks like it's gonna twist it right off the frame
Biodiesel or real diesel either way the kind of power these guys put down is still gonna smoke! Awesome!
0:43 look carefully at the red truck, it shoots a smoke ring out its left stack (right one from our point of view)
Randy Couture has a semi truck?
@VideoProductioninc
In Canada we spell it Labour Day
First flames coming from the stack is propane injection.
Second black truck makes over 2400 hp and isn't a work truck.
I love that black smoke..
Funny how you ignore the last part of my message.
well ive seen these truck work but not with the same engine calibration and yes its a kind or their toy they wont sell those. they also back up by their compagny like vincent couture being one of transport couture owner...
@GOD "No whales were harmed during the recording of this video"
@BAwithBALLS no need to get cocky mate, i know the euro trucks use a lot less, my dad's truck is an MAN and it goes from melbourne to adelaide and back 3 times before it needs some juice, but with the trucks i've been working on like the ISX and the ISX EGR they use quite a bit. thats just from my experiences. it also has to do with your gears how many you have and what ratios you have, etc etc. euro 5 is a lot better, but i still prefer my dads old truck which was a louisville.
Sola motion?????
The last 40 seconds were not needed!
@brianandjeri They are work trucks. But the driver is the owner.
Camion? That's a fuckin RIG!
looks great for the environment
why am i just now finding this?
why is the always the front left tire lifting up ?
+Skorpion689 Because it's heavy to pull !!!!
it's because the torque of the motor goes right forcing the right tire down twisting the frame plus the weight of the trailer
William Assad ahh ok thanks
Because these trucks are absolutely nuts! And because physics...I was also wondering this too though
flywheel spins clockwise, pulls the truck up in the direction it spins
Sounds like a date is on its way... Hope you like Beauce though!
i love the blue sky :D
@thematt89 this year thoses guys are around 2400hp and they said they are not to far from the double in torque (I can't wait .......just 2 week to wait!!!!)

@xIrish56x they dont run nitrous I think it was a mixture between unburnt fuel in the smoke and propane getting too hot and hitting a flash point
I wish they had a video of the trucks drag racing from a dash cam.. the drivers pov
@VideoProductioninc if am right, their pushing about 4000 hp
Driver 1 "my truck is better than your truck"
Driver 2 "MY TRUCK SPEWS FIRE BITCH!!!!!!"
are we really still using the talk to the hand stuff man wat are u 5
@BAwithBALLS your average truck will use something like 2.5 litres per km mate :) so chewing fuel comes naturally for something thats 12 litres or bigger :)
afterburner... sweet
Coming to a California town near you🤣🤣
Step aside. Let the big boys play!
Actually it's the oil contained in the Fuel that catches on fire.
CAT POWER? CUMMINS? I wonder what type of motors were in those Petes...
idk about right side truck but the pete on left has a c15 cat, obviously not stock from what i heard its putting out somewhere north of 2500 hp the most impressive are the 200000 lb trailer tows [3 flatbeds or lumber] theres videos of that truck twisting the frame so hard off the line it lifts the left front tire 3 ft off of the ground wild to watch lol
they have cat cummins and detroit
holly smokes what a insane power :)
@luisgeo27 Please explain how this is bad....
is that optimus prime truck?
@Evo10Rocks It's unburnt fuel not pollution
Let's send this vid to GreenPeace
Actually COGAS black truck is his work truck, its puttin out 1200hp Ive heard but it could be puttin out more. That is the meanest work truck I have ever seen. lol
yeah.... but whats crazy is that they are holding up! 0.o
esos motores son un espectaculo
@dafxfiskren too bad this is in Quebec Canada.

4 wheel burnout nice!!!
Nothing in the valves, they're running rich dumping fuel out the exhaust, and on the pull it reached the Flashpoint temperature.
Ça peut s'interpréter de toute façon ça... ;-))
I would be a little worried about what went wrong in my valve train at :50 if it was my truck
GreenPeace will love it !!!
