NOTE: Please be aware that I am not a singer in any way! But I wanted to try my hand at recreating this beautiful song, with emotion and rawness.
In addition, whilst I have tried to pronounce the lyrics from what I could glean from Matt Smith's stunning performance, they may not be perfect (maybe they are, but as it is a fictional language, who can really say?)
Finally, there were a couple of instances where a symbol' above the letter 'y' should appear in the Valyrian lyrics, but my editing software freaked out whenever I tried to include it, so I had to leave it out on the video. - Развлечения

And if you want to use this cover in a video/animation, you may - just please be respectful and drop a link to my youtube as credit - and let me know. :)
I likely won't make any more covers in the near future so that I may get back to focusing on my comic dubs and animations, but this was super fun! :)
❤❤ beautiful
Love the cover. I wish we had a better version from the show, just Daemon's/Matt Smith's singing without the dragon effects, but as female cover, this is great.
As to pronunciation - I never learned High Valyrian, but it is a constructed language that can be learned and it definitely has a set pronunciation. I know it is on Duolingo, if anyone's interested :)
You did wonderful. ❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's ANGELIC,I listen to it every night, and hum it when I'm nervous....
You did great gave me chills and goosebumps I could fall asleep to your singing
I can picture Rhaenyra singing this to her son, Aegon the Younger, as they're sailing toward Dragonstone after the riots of King's Landing, believing she's lost everything and everyone she loves.
Would be tragic considering what would then happen at Dragonstone that caused Aegon to develop a phobia of Dragons.
Rhaenyra should have sang this to visenya.
Would have, had she survived stillbirth
No please, I cried enough in that scene all the way to the coronation. 😢
@@AFireBirdPhoenix exactly 😢
…ouch 🥲
@@khonshusumadre4382 rhaenyras child that was stillborn was named visenya it wasn't said in the series but in the books. the comment is talking about that child not about her dragon
I like to think this is a song that was sung by Aegon Targaryen and his two sisters to their dragons to prepare them for the coming conquest.
Your angelic voice made me realize how truly beautiful High Valyrian is especially when sung in a lullaby!
This is honestly the sweetest thing. Thank youuuuuu!!! 😊
well that's funny considering he also played the devil 😂
@@TheBourneFreedom oh wait huh this is her it sounds magical thanks for the translations
Imagine Daenerys singing it to her baby dragons
Dothraki and High Valyrian actually were further developed for the shows into a full language. It's quite an amazing story. Love the cover!
Beautiful siren voice you have. Dragons love songs like us, it gives us a glimpse of the tragedy of Dragons. Which is that they are few in number than in the glory days of the Valyrian Freehold. It gives us the emotion of sadness that Dragons are dying race that can easily be destroyed by some foolish people. Tragedy of an extinct culture.
This song shows us that Daemon is the closest to a Valyrian Dragonlord we got, because he understands and embraces the Dragons better than the other members of house Targaryen. He knows that you have to form a connection with the Dragon like a relationship, for Dragons don't take commands like dogs do. By showing respect to the Dragons, you get a loyal companion for the rest of your life. Aemond and Lucaerys learned it the hard way.
It also shows us that the Dragons are not beasts, but sentient beings that have emotions and physical weaknesses. Dragons never stop growing as long they are not in captivity and can eat as much as they want. Enjoy freedom as any living being.
This song is beautiful.. Daemon did an amazing job.. what an epic scene.. i get chills hearing it.. im trying to learn to sing it myself.. the words are hard to say.. 🐉🔥🐉🔥🐉🔥
I can imagine either Queen Rhaenys or Prince Rhaegar singing this song, playing an harp.
This is just perfect.
One of the best things I've ever heard in my entire life.
Thank you for this 🙏❤
That's so very kind! Thank you for listening!
No idea how much I needed a cover of this until now 👀 Awesome work!
Awww, thank you, Inky!!! ❤️😊
Now you are welcome to my world of searching covers every 2 days, in case a new one dropped, while wondering why tf aren't there a thousand more already, considering how big GoT and HotD are.
MAN THIS NEEDS TO BLOW UP! GOT should see this what the hell. You sang that soooooo good!!!
Aaaaah, thank you so much! That is really sweet of you to say!
“Drakari Pykiros” 🐉 🌬💨🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love it! Good job 👍 on this hauntingly beautiful song.
That pronunciation girl... That voice, I like this one far better than the original one!
I can picture Aegon singing this to Balerion right before he burned Harenhall and everyone in it.
So much chills I felt hearing this, thank you and yes it does seem like a lullaby.
На любого дракона подействует успокаивающе.
This is so beautiful, amazing cover ♥
This is stunning! I love it!

Beautifully made! Thanks for sharing
chills down my spine 🥶
Заслушала уже до дыр! Очень красиво!❤️
Got goosebumps basically everywhere
I picture Queen Rhaenys singing to baby Aenys
the Greens will never truly understand dragons, Alicent in her great idiocy raised her children to think of dragons as animals
It’s like old Sumerian so beautiful I hear the voice of Inana
This was soooooo good 😭
I have never downloaded Duolingo more quickly than the second I finished watching this. Thanks!
Beautiful
That's amazing
beautiful
I would so love a 10 hour version to sleep to 🥹
You have such wonderful voice 💗
Amazing
Damn beautiful!
I thought you were a professional singer. This is beautiful
Great work, realy 👌
Gorgeous! I've never heard the original so I have nothing to compare it with. That being said, I don't need anything because I don't know if _anything_ can compare to this beautiful song. Thank you! Cheers!
The original is the actor Matt Smith walking around a crypt-like place known as a pit for a certain thing inside of it. What happens next will shock you! It's all in House of the Dragon.
ขนลุก !
Love it 😀 😁
Tienes una voz preciosa, un canto maravilloso y el mágico acento del Alto Valyrio, eres digna de ser llamada una verdadera Targaryen.
Great job
Great c:
OMGGG!! 😳
Gevī! ❤
This version of yours ought to be the theme song of House of the Dragon season 2. Beautiful singing ❤️
That is such a compliment! Thank you and I am glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
@@TheBourneFreedom you're welcome . I loved it❤️
You are a lady of the Freehold of Valyria
You're have a beautiful singing voice
Imagine Luke singing this to Vhagar before she tried to eat him and Arrax 🥲
That would break my heart!
@@TheBourneFreedom same, but it would be pretty hillarious to see Vhagar just lie down and fall asleep lmao
i love this
Do you think is this the song of Ice and Fire? Good job btw, love it! You're so talented
I don’t it; Daemon didn’t know anything about the prophecy, Best guess is it’s something from Old Valyria
Now she is Daela in another universe
Valyrian sounds kinda like Baltic and Hellenic mixed together with a touch of Italic
The song of the dragon😌❤💙💚💛💜💖👑🎆🎇🎵🎼🌘🔥❇✨🌠
i wish i could learn high Valyrian
High Valerian is an option on Duolingo.
@@psychedelicpegasus7587 def gonna look into that
I love it! When is the next episode of Monster Omens?
Hi there! No set date for ep2 of Monster Omens. I am currently working on the Alexandria epilogue (which will run around 25mins in total), and then Jazz Baby.
I will likely turn my attention back to Monster Omens after those though! :)
🤩😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩😘
This song is approved by Vermithor 👍🏽
I wonder if this song can also be used on dragons that are already bonded to a rider in the House of the Dragon world.
Like: lets say a dragon (that has a rider) is going out of control but the rider is nowhere near the dragon.
Can someone use this song to calm it down if it isn't responding to the lykiri (high valerian for calm down) command?
I dont think there are really any "commands" for the Dragons. They are extremely smart, higly, emotionally intelligent, with vast emotional range, and extremely strong wills. And more they can sense the emotions of the person with them, like your Dog or cat but on a whole other level. The "be calm" I believe would literally only work if the person with the dragon has a strong enough will him or herself, and is also calm themselves, without fear as daemon was in the crypt. We can start to understand them on some level, but they are beings of deep spiritual blood magic that will never be understood by those now living. I dont think the ancient Valerians were normal humans, I think they were something.....more. Like the Children of the Forest are something more, or different. So yea. Commanding a dragon, not so much.
I sang this song to my iguana pet 🐲🔥
PLEASEE I BEG YOU PLEASE LOAD IT TO SPOTIFY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Haha, glad you enjoy it!
I'll decide in the future if that would be something I would do - I am hesitant as I don't know much about uploading to Spotify or any copyright issues I may encounter being a cover.
I hope you will be happy listening to it on RUclips for now! :)
@@TheBourneFreedom ı thank you for this pretty gorgeous stunning also splendid recreation cover. Yes so do i i only knew a few things about uploading to Spotify only thing i know about uploading to Spotify is the things i saw from my sister. ROVEGRIOR!!!!
Kirimvose!
Have you made other valyrian music?
I haven't, no. I don't know enough of the language to do it justice since I was using Matt Smith's pronunciation as well as other covers here on RUclips to help me understand how the lyrics should sound.
Perhaps one day I will if they release more Valyrian songs in the series. :)
Huuuh the fact you don’t sing is insanity to me this is blissful. You should cover some other stuff maybe
😍🥰🥲😍😍🤩
I imagined Dany singing this lullaby to calm down drogon, rhaegal and viserion. Emilia could've done this! 🥰
I've heard with blood magic pronounced "An-no-roo-see/An-no-rose-ann". To you I sing pronounced like "vie-en-don". As one we gather pronounced like "High may-rowed ge-roo-lee". We shall fly as we were destined pronounced like "proom-yo-sought". And beautifully, freely pronounced "tie-and-vee/tie-er-ree".
Thank you for the tips! I do not know high Valerian, and could only try to sing as best I could from Matt Smith's performance and other wonderful covers online, so this is good stuff!
Some words are not spoken like they are written
That dragon daemon was taming probably was sung to by some princess or something when it was a hatchling.
Actually, the dragon Daemon was taming was Vermithor, his former rider was king Jahaerys. In the books is mentioned that the king used to sing to his dragon, that's why Daemon had sing to calm him down.
Ñ!
Sorry but you mispronounced so many word ...
It's not a real language, so who cares? LOL
@@KingaKucyk i care xD
And either you do it right or you have to live with the fact that mistakes are pointed out to you
@@Vaelor.B that's true, I only said it's a fictional language
@@KingaKucyk nope you implied that only because it's a constructed language it doesn't matter if you use the correct pronunciation.
But in my opinion that's bullshit.
Not only because the wrong pronunciation can change the meaning of a word, but the whole idea of this video is to honor not only the series or the Musik but also the language. And that's why you have to follow the rules of pronunciation.
Here a short example in high Valyria
Ābri Valī issi would mean "they're women and men" the ā and ī are long vowels twice as long as normal.
With a short vowel like "ābra Vali issi" it would mean "the women are men"
Beautiful ❤🐉
