Simple but effective. I have found that going into the squat slowly - making it a tempo squat 15-30 seconds each way, down and up; makes a huge difference.

You are extremely flexible bro. I do lots of strength and cardio training. I cannot even begin to get in the positions you do, but I attempt them and feel great afterwards

@@Jerry-yd8pj Nothing at all, but it seems that he was overflexing in order to lure the viewer in. In my opinion, I find it a bit distrustful. As in, you can be super competent, but if you need to create something that is unrelated to lure untrained eye in order to captivate an audience, I find it a bit misleading. But that's me.

Thanks I always wanted to do the legit infamous Asian squat but found my heels always lifting. Most people lift their heels. This is a great guide to getting your body into that position, because when you lack ankle mobility, or hip it’s pretty unfathamoble

God works in mysterious ways. I had been implementing this in my routine since last week and I didn’t even know why I was doing it. Thank you Josh. I squat every day so this is so easy for me. We asians, squatting is a second nature. We don't sit on chair, we squat ....on chair. Funny is that my daughter is a mix caucasian (from Canadian father) without teaching her I surprised when seeing her squatting on her chair at 10 years old, while eating dinner. And she did it when too excited with food 😂
not all Asians squat.. generalization is a bad thing.. maybe mostly Vietnamese or Mainlanders from China
@@cdnsilverdaddy No bro, everyone in Asia still have flat toilet. they squad there 10min ++ daily with paper or smartphone. Personally i squad there daily with 1 cigarette.
Sometimes when we feels sick, we can do squad, core, and glute exercise around 20min++. When finish, feels like heaven :))

One thing that will add to this is when you go back into the squat position try to raise your hands over your head. It will stretch your scapula even more

Yo I got the same ( xero shoes ) btw but different color, best shoes I’ve ever worn, my feet and toes don’t feel squished and I can feel so much with my feet and my balance had improved greatly because of these. 100/10 I highly recommend this brand of shoes for everyone
