This is a lovely pattern and the yarn looks really soft. Thanks for the tutorial.

    Is it 113, 13 +5 or 114, 12+6?? Does it matter?

Heads up! Row 8 should say Ch.3, 1 dc in each of next *7* sts. If you don’t, your dcs will not line up with the scs in the previous row. I made the change after I took out all my work down to Row 2. I worked my way back to Row 8 only to find the pattern was wrong. I made the change and now my chain spaces line up.

Sherilyn Fossum thank you!! I just got to this spot and had to put my work down because I thought I was misunderstanding something or I had messed up. I’ll add the extra stitch and continue on my way. You saved me a lot of trouble!!!

Gosh, the yarn is super, super soft. I made my mother a shawl with it. Have to make this blanket. The problem is... when will I ever get up if I'm using the blanket? 🙂

Thank you. Cannot get that yarn here but I’ll try the pattern with an alternative. Thank you for the clear instruction. 🐨🐨

You will crochet faster and smoother and use less energy is you stop throwing your yarn with your left hand. Try stroking the stitch. It will change your life. Jmho

I did a guage swatch but the width of my blanket in about 5 inches more than the pattern calls for. What could I have done wrong?

It would be most helpful if the person held their hook and the thread they are using to create with in the proper positions so that the work was more visible and the hands weren't getting in the way, and the work had to be continually repositioned. It gets quite distracting. Her instructions are quite good, clear and knowledgeable of the whole process to create the pattern but the mannerisms are rather distracting.
