multimeter is too hard to use, i found a psu power tester on shop, it is very cheap, u can test 24 pin and 8 or 4pin on that, if the cable is ok then there are some led will turn on.. well nice video,assalamualaikum

@billy editz I changed motherboard, Old motherboard still boot by luck. I sent that to repair centre they couldn't identified the issue and returned to me.

I tested my cooler master 700watt power supply with digital multimeter. The voltage values reading is - 12V = 1197 -12V =1188 3.3V= 3.34 5V= 4.99-5.02 I want to know is my PSU in good condition as it it not delivering the exact voltages value as mentioned on the PSU body.
Those voltages are correct the correct voltages should also be on the label on your power supply but.. yes 12V 3.3 and 5 is correct it would have been useful to know where you took the readings from , but.... i'm guessing it's correct , these readings are very common

I have thermaltake smartseries 750w psu, i am facing issue of when i power on my pc, after 2-2.5 hour running my psu suddenly automatically power off and again won't start and when i remove it completely from ac supply for 2 hour, again my psu working for another 2-2.5 or 3 hour, company fitted cooling fan working normally no issue with its fan,Whats the problem any have idea?
Have you tried opening it and check to see if it's full of dust sounds like Over heating i suggest you get an air compressor and blow the dust out and see if it continues to happen. Dust can also cause shorts on your board failing that.... Possibly Capacitors going bad, Tranny's Rectifiers , Voltage regs or Diodes, but , you'll obviously need electronics experience to troubleshoot that first blow the shit out of it if it has dust in it , then try it again it could be just as simple as... the dust is creating and insulating layer in which to store heat and your PSU is shutting down after getting too hot

that means that the standby power is working but your power supply is not switching to the primary circuit it coulld be a Power supply problem or it could be a motherboard problem You need to learn how to short the power supply connectors THE BLACK and THE GREEN (there is only 1 Green) and by doing this , see if the power supply fan starts spinning. if it does , your motherboard has a problem between the Front panel pin headers of the POWER BUTTON pins to the 20+4 Pin Power connector if the fan doesn't spin then your Power supply has an issue of not being able to switch over to the primary circuit from the standby circuit

Go to a local electronics store, but the 3 pin power connector that was in your PSU, Because it's likely that the connector has stretched and is loose Desolder it, solder in a new one and you should be good to go

LOL and then last week , a client calls me up and says ""umm My friend who knows about mining flashed my GPU to BIOS MOD IT and now it won't turne on" YEAH..... I WONDER WHY THAT IS LOL when i asked him for the file that he used to flash the GPU, Turns out it was downloaded from the NVIDIA site, but he had the wrong model number that he searched so he flashed a chip with incorrect firmware and . HE'S WONDERING WHY IT WON'T TURN ON Now. Only a GPU was killed in this scenario THE POINT IS.... YOU TUBE OVER SIMPLIFIES THINGS AND GIVES PEOPLE FALSE CONFIDENCE and robs them of fundamental precautions that professionals take to stay safe so yeah , like you said if you don't own a DMM or a DSO or CRO or you don't know what those things mean, You shouldn't be doing this shit

When I put the paper clip on the 24pin it works I take it off doesn’t turn on, when I plug it in to the motherboard same thing doesn’t work. Help
