Back then the BBC had the talent to produce quality dramas and hire the finest actors and actresses on the tiniest of budgets.

Absolutely first class performance by Margery Mason, and certainly not the only one she’s done. Another one was in the BBC series “A family at war” where she also was incredible. One of the actors whose place is much difficult to replace.

Can’t be BBC. It’s us, we’ve met the enemy, they are us. In the U.S., after everything we’ve tried to achieve, it’s as though only the worst of the far right and far left remain. In fact this seems due to computer algorithms, feeding us material to make money for the media. If we don’t regulate this, we’ll lose everything.

I can remember seeing the film crew shooting the scene where the man chased the woman outside the store. It involved a department store in Widnes. Mum and I had walked down to the town centre of Widnes from Grandma's house when we spotted the film crew. A technician with the film crew said the scene was going to be included in an episode of Juliet Bravo. I haven't spotted myself or Mum in the clip but I am so glad to have found the episode and the scene.
