    Glad i was not the only one to have the issue with the AC compressor bolt and the Valve cover. I hope you are going to cover the fuel system setup since i think i am using the same exact setup you are on my C10

    Great video, thanks for uploading. I've looked into a couple "Mid mount drives" doing as much research as possible before buying. That said I have a question. A couple of bloggers spoke about the power steering SQUEALING possible due to the small contact area on only one side pully. Have you had any issues like this? Thank again for the video👍

      There was a squeal when I first started the truck but it went away after running. This is by far the most simple and clean mid mount. There are lots of options but not all inclusive and as easy to install. I’ve always wanted this one but I’d be willing to try others now that I’m more comfortable with the swap.

    great video how do you know which part number hoses to run from the radiator to the kit? thanks

      I bent a clothes hanger the shape I needed it then I went to the parts store and matched it up to a hose. Then cut it to the size I needed.

    We’re did you buy the cooling fan Assembly and the Radiator.

      I got this one from az pro performance. It’s a champion LS swap for a 66. I made my own mount on the side so I didn’t have the big bulky radiator clamp. I made it from L channel from Lowe’s. The fan came with it and assembly.

    Do you know what radiator hoses you used?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  6 месяцев назад

      No I don’t. I measured and took a bent cloths hanger to the parts store to find one close.

    It looks like you added an oil fill in the valley tray..Am I correct in that? If so what did you do. Love this build.
    Thanks
    John

      @SIMPLE.C10  9 месяцев назад

      Actually traded out the valley cover with another one Holley makes with the fill. I should have done that from the beginning because the valve covers require you to take off the cover and one coil pack to add oil.

      Thanks so much for the information. I have a 66 C10 that Im thinking of doing an LS3 swap. Just trying to figure out a cost of everything before I take the leap. Im thinking of running a Holley Sniper but unsure of any disadvantage doing it this way.
      If there is a private way to share contact info it woukd be great to get your email address ..much easier to communicate that way

    What hose are you using on the heater hose fittings?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  Год назад

      It’s a u shaped hose with two different size ends. I searched Amazon for LS heater bypass hose. Lots of options.

    What engine wiring harness and throttle body did you end up using?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  Год назад +1

      I used the painless LS harness and factory 92mm throttle body. If I did it again, I would use Holley terminator.

      @@SIMPLE.C10 definitely a good idea on the Holley harness but with them being on back order the painless one ain’t bad till then. Thank you again man keep up the great work!

      @stevenaguilera2012 the painless harness was super easy to install. I recommend it but would have liked to go all Holley. At least next time I’ll be able to see the differences.
