Hi Travis, As you know I have reached out to you and Zach in the past about my 62, I've been waiting for this content since you told me you were going to do one. I've actually starting stripping the interior of mine Seat, wiring, heater, etc.and just decided to take the body off and do similar stuff to mine. Maybe not the PB way, $$$$ lol But who knows.. Ha ha Maybe we can get them done along side at the some time. Thank you for this and looking forward to this build. Hello Travis. Truck Driver Ray here. Nice bones in that 1960 Chevrolet Apache. I have 2 1960 Chevrolet Stepsides, 1 still assembled and original and 1 in 6 pieces. I am in the midst of 400 sbc swapping a 61 truck, lmc truck sells motor mount perches for a 63 that can be made to fit with a half inch metal block on top of the frame rail as a spacer.

I'm very happy you're doing one of these earlier trucks, I have one and love the hood, but have been struggling to find parts for any truck before a 63. I know newer parts can be made to fit, but it's hard to find a video of anyone showing how to do it.

What do you think about swapping in a 1967 c10 crossmember into a 1962 c10

I like what your doing to the outside paint but I'd like to see the interior new. New paint, seat and even door seals.

I have a complete Porterbuilt chassis for my 1948 Chevy truck and my brother is doing a front and back half for his 1950 Chevy truck. Good luck on your build , it’ll definitely motivate me to get busy on my build.

Who came up with the patina look I would go a deep Brown & Cream on that truck patina to me is just rust not my cup of tea & also I would do a woodgrain & chrome bed & lower it with Brown & Cream interior.thats just me IJS.
