In today's video I take a look at real niche research for Amazon KDP and why this seems to be an issue for AI generated coloring books in particular and how I think you can pivot your niche research approach to find the real niche you are trying to target your low content books on.

It would be amazing to see the continuation and the results after you do your magic
Great to see the theory used in relation to a published book. For me, it is also great to have these smaller videos related to just one topic. Rather than a long video explaining about all the different elements. Thanks Chris.
Definitely looking forward to a continuation!
Thank you for this very helpful video and explanation! I too would love to see more videos like this one!
Great video Chris! Would love to see part 2 of this video
Awesome video. Subscribed. These kinds of analyses are what RUclips needs more of. Please make more.
Loved this, so very helpful and of course I want to see more videos like this as a series!!! :)
Great video Chris. Thank you!
Excellent Chris! Would love more videos about this! ❤
Great video Chris. Thank you. I would love to see more videos like this, as one can never have enough knowledge about KDP.
More like this, thanks for your work!
Really cool! Keep going, man!
Yes please, continue working with this book and getting it ranked. Thank you
Fantastic video mate, keep em coming! Subbed.
Hi Chris, thanks for the video. I think this kind of case study videos are really useful. Understanding the mistakes and knowing what you would do in this kind of cases teaches me a lot.
It would be so great if you would make more videos like this! Thank you for quality content ❤
Pls do more! Great info!!!
spelling it out in the simplest way, great video - more please!
Thank you for your clear-headed, logical approach! I would certainly be interested on a "series" based around this video!
great video, I personally want more of your videos whether keyword research terms or any other reaction video on a particular book as you did on this video
Great video Chris. It's silly because we all are guilty of this sometimes, but this just hammers home the importance of just using your common sense!
Please make this kind of series.. thank you man
Great Vid, many thanks
yes, please continue!
Great Video. Thank you .
Very helpful, thank you so much! :) Would love to see what title/subtitle/keywords you would choose for this book.
Thank you so much for your advice, but most of all for being so honest. There are many people on RUclips giving wrong or, I believe, purposely misleading information, such as: It's ok to upload AI images when it clearly states in the KDP guidelines that this is not allowed. There is no gray area, and you've always been clear about this. I'm happy you've done so well on KDP, and I wish you continued success.
Great video Chris, as always... Cheers mate!..
Been a while, hope you’re well!
Great Thanks Chris... it has been a while - we'll have to catch up sometime...
With more and more people spamming books and putting super high bids on ads I think the strategy needs a little shift towards other sources of traffic, like maybe TikTok with a pre-order or something like that. Maybe even an email list with a pre-order to get that initial boom of sales
Please do another continuation video about improving this book. It will be really helpful
Hi Chris. Found this video very useful and would be interested to see a follow up.
What a great video! Chris, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for this invaluable information! MORE LIKE THIS!
Great Video as always. Learned so much again. Is there a more affordable tool to reverse engineer the used keywords than cerebro?
Part 2 please😊
I think this would be a fantastic series!
Especially the adverts for coloring books, which is what I mostly publish, I get plenty of clicks but I'm between 15 and 20 clicks between purchases, is this common for competitive areas? Or is my cover strong and poor background and A+ content?
Great videos as ever.
Hi, please do the series.
Honestly I think too, people just want the sales and money and don’t really have a passion on it
yes please
Thanks Chris, would love to see continuation.
Finally saw your face Chris.
Great Video. Do you know an app which goes through a whole list of search terms and gives the average BSR or some other kind of performance metric. I would like to use the cerebro data to find out, which are the best ones.
Yes please yes
Great video Chris, yes I'm certainly guilty of doing this especially at the beginning of my KDP journey. I do know now that my book can only be found using a exact search term people are actually using, though I still have trouble making books where there isn't too much competition and where I have a chance of getting my book ranked. Would be good to see a follow up video correcting the mistakes and getting the book ranked.
can you make a tutorial how to make a good coloring book
When you say "target fantasy coloring books and dragon coloring books" - do you mean enter those niche keywords in the subtitle or in the 7 keyword fields KDP offers when you publish or do you mean both?
I watched this video and I still don't get what your topic "Why I think your A.I. coloring books on Amazon KDP will never sell..." Maybe my English is so poor so I can't get the point. Could anyone help me conclude this topic?
Hi Chris,
I have some children's Math Activity Workbooks that I'm having a hard time getting traction. Can I send you the links and be added to this series? Would love your input.
Sure please send me them on Facebook messenger . Find me using ‘Chris raydog’
Does "baby dragon coloring book" also target the kw "dragon coloring book" ?
When we target an kw we need to be very specific to that exact keyword?
Thx a lot❤
It will yeah. I think for ranking purposes he would have gotten ranked faster for the exact keyword though.
Lil Wayne spit the best bars and they still act like he fell off if it's not verse of the year. They gonna judge him anyway. Still the best doing it.
This video did not really explain why an AI coloring book will not sell. It was more to do with niche research. But I would be interested in hearing why he thinks an AI coloring book will not sell.
Wow that title is terrible and sounds like spam
Because no one wants AI... And most "AI artists" are incapable of fixing the error made by AI in their colouring books... The themes not there... The quality isn't there... And the creativity is lacking. People who buy colouring books are more creative than people using AI... And they want someone who is MORE creative than they are to make the books they're colouring.
With all respect, but you are completely wrong, sorry!
Or maybe you are overcomplicating things.
I publish AI books myself, with reaosnable success...
It's very, very easy to fix the A.I. mistakes if you are good with AI.
of course, if you are super lazy and you will take whatever the AI is throwing at you and then you publish, and you will get little to no sales/reviews.
@@timtim2500 it's a gross practice either way. Who wants to spend 5-11 dollars on something with no quality or effort put into it? They all look the same, ai like this is relatively new yet it's already over saturating the Amazon coloring book market. Most people, myself included, prefer reputable artists. At least it's pretty easy to tell which ones are ai cause they all look the same.
