Wow she looks beautiful. She's looks a bit spooky but also kind of friendly and I love it. The tail looks absolutely fantastic, these colors shifting from green to blue to purple fit very well to the mermaid theme and her general color palette. I love her! 💚💙
Thank you! Can't wait for your next doll 🤩
She turned out so pretty!!
Woah, one of my favorite artists is here!
Thank you! 💜 I love your work too 😭
She looks Gorgeous!! Imagine her Dad's a dragon while her mom is a mermaid. I love all three Mermay Collab Dolls, Keep up the great work. :)
It was so genius to use the dragon tail as a mermaid tail, I would have never made that connection! I loved doing this collab with you, thank you so much! Your doll is absolutely gorgeous omg you went above and beyond.
Thank you Fana! I had a blast collabing with everyone! ✨
woah!! you really created a beautiful tail! and also just a beautiful doll all around lol shes seriously amazing! Thank you for collabing with meeeee!
Thank you Jackyyy 💜💜💜
Hi
The loose curls mixed with the tight curls gives her a very organic look, as if she did just pop up from the deep sea to say hi ❤❤❤
She turned out so beautiful! That tail, with the duochrome paint and the resin coating looks out of this world! And of course her face up and hair are just stunning 💛💛 amazing job!! xxxx
That is really clever using the tail pieces backward! It really does make a difference, and she's beautiful!
She is sooo cool! I love how long her tail is. You could do a creepy mermaid 🧜♀️ that would be so cool!
she turned out SO beautiful! 😭all the little found treasures and netting look so authentic, exactly the kind of thing a mermaid would accessorize with 😍
you had a clever use of dollightful's dragon tail. the repaint was a struggle but i love the face. the outfit is so nice too, with all those tiny things here and there. good job!
What a clever idea to use the dragon tail. It looks amazing. And I love her hair, the colors and the curls.
Blender is a free 3d design and sculpting program btw, if you're interested in giving that a go. There's also tinkercad but it's way more basic
the reason why the curls didn’t work out is because you used many different curling techniques. I have black hair so i knew what you were trying do but failed to do. using all those techniques was gonna make it look weird in every angle. cause you had tight curls, loose curls, coils and more. If you wanted different textures make them colder threes type like coils with tight curls etc. so next time it looks better!
hope this helps! 🥰
👍 👍
I'm surprised at how well the dragon tail works for a mermaid! It gives more of a sea serpent vibe to the mermaid, which makes her feel a bit spookier, like a dark fairytale. Great job! 🧜🏻♀️
I love how she turned out, you did an amazingly fantastic job! Just wow~
It's really funny, I'm printing a BJD dragon tail too to use on a "mermaid" doll. I'm useing it to make a sea snake-mermaid-creature-thing doll myself. 3D printers are really the best thing ever, so much so I'm saving for a resin printer next. Though I'm in a setback, my fiancee thought watercolor pencils were all the same an got Faber-Castell Watercolor Pencil set an I don't know if they will work on dolls. IDK...
I have heard some people like using Faber-Castell pencils, I think they are more firm?
She is such an amazing doll! I really love the tail because it breaks with the classical silhouette and I also believe the different curls give the hair more texture and it looks amazing! Great job 🤩🤩
I've watched many doll customs lately but I can say for sure this must be one of my favourites, it's just perfect!
She came out so beautiful 🥰
She turned out amazing, her color scheme is gorgeous! The tail is beautiful and the transition from the 3D printed piece's to the sculpted piece's is so seamless.
Wow! She is gorgeous, beautiful 😍 and enchanting - I LOVE HER. You did a great job with her tail fluke - I particularly like the holes you put in the film, that was a nice touch
She's so beautiful! And I love that magnetically-attached wig cap- I've used it a few times to make lekku for Twi'lek dolls!
i loove her long hair its so beautiful. theres something so ethereal and calming about mermaids
I love your spooky dolls! I love all of your creatures. This one is especially dollightful. (I'm so sorry--I couldn't help myself.)
Haha, I love a good pun! 😀 Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful! Next time you might try mixing black acrylic paint into your gesso. I’ve had success priming that way, I hope you do too!
Yes, I need to try that!
She's beautiful!
She’s so beautiful! I love the metallic colours and her little around tummy is adorable!💖
The tiny holes in the angelina film looks sooo good! Her tail is absolutely gorgeous!
I love the clothing/accessories you made. Doll artists are so ingenious with that kind of thing.
your technique on removing parts of a face up is a god send, i recently gave up on a doll due to multiple face up mistakes but watching this has probably saved her! youre the best!
Thank you so much! It was so worth it testing out the acetone trick, and if I was to mess up I would have wiped the face anyway!
How pretty!
This is so great!!! The paint reminds me of pearls used for colorshifting cars!!
OMG shes amazing! That was a fantaztic idea with the dragon tail! It makes me feel like she's a mysterious deep diving sea creature. I think shes my favourite of yours. Amazing work as always Josephine!💜🐉🐬
Absolutely gorgeous! You put a lot of work into her, what an amazing job!!
That’s is simply beautiful!! You put your heart into it and it is beyond awesome!!
Gosh!! You really outdid yourself on this one!! The face up makes her look so mysterious, like you know, in a deep-sea-pollution kinda way and the "clothing" (??) really just adds to it! And that tail! Oh my god she's fantastic!! :DD
gorgeous!!!! i loved watching your whole process -- the integration of the dragon tail is fantastic! what a lovely creature💕💕
Thank you! ✨
you know those anatomy displays in the doctors offices? head, chest, the organs... the mannequin ones with the pieces? a doll based on that would be cool.
Agreed that would be cool af
That tail!
That hair!
Shes so brilliant and gorgeous and inventive and just amazing
She's beautiful.
I will say her tail is a dragon tail with a mermaid fin at the end.
I say that because of the length.
That's too long for a mermaid fin.
However, she's still beautiful and I'd be proud to display that.
wow, she's so absolutely beautiful!
You did such a great job. That was a lot of work! The color combination is amazing. Such a unique and beautiful mermaid. You encouraged me to continue to try even if it gets rough because the results can be phenomenal. Perseverance.
I like your channel better than others, because I feel comfortable knowing that even if someone makes mistakes, they can make a banger end result. Thank you for sharing the l
mistakes as well as your wonderful dolls
Thank you! 💜 I'm a firm believer that after a mistake you shoud get back up again, and try even harder!
She's beautiful!❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍🥰
Wow!! She's so beautiful!!! I want her! 😍😍😍🧜🏻♀️🧜🏻♀️🧜🏻♀️
I didn’t think I would ever do a mermaid doll, but now you have me thinking how I would like to do one. Thank you!
Wonderful! And the hair is fabulous!
I like the hair kinda wild like that, if you think about her being under the water it would be wild. It's all just trial and error, our mess ups are what teach us and we learn from them. She turned out great, very pretty. ☺
Wow she turned out beautiful, Love her😍
The clothes peg ‘clamp’ for painting body pieces is genious. She came out so fantastic. I love those colorshift pieces on her and her overall vibe.
Thank you so much! Yes all the help I can get when painting tiny parts! 👍
So beautiful Siren -Mermaid The Doll Creature ❤.
I wasn’t loving it when you gave her the orange eyes but after seeing her put together, the amber and starfish and her eyes all make the rest pop even more. I love when I am proven wrong and I learn something new.
Breathtaking! You did a beautiful job
She is absolutely stunning! 😍😍😍 And such a creative use for the dragon tail!
i’m so glad youtube recommended your channel to me! your dolls are so beautiful! 💖
Well thank you! 💖
Absolutely an amazing, fantastic doll! You left me speechless!!!!!
Wow. She turned out so beautiful ^^👌🏻💕🧜🏻♀️
I like how the parts where like she adds something in their head i don't really understand what it is but it kinda looks like she is changing the dolls brain into a smart one
She's beautiful! Love the details😍👏
She is STUNNING!
She is beautiful ❤️! Beautiful job Josephine!
Gorgeous and beautiful design
I love that she looks kind of spooky.
She's stunning! 💕 Amazing work!
She came out so pretty
Your channel is so underrated! Your work is so pretty!!
Thank you! 💖
She's so gorgeous, I love it😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏
A longer tale looks so much more realistic in my opinion she's absolutely beautiful I love her so much
I loooove a long mermaid tail so much!
She's breathtaking!
She looks super beautiful
I subscribed to your channel. I loooove your mermaid 🧜♀️
It was difficult but you did it! Love this work 👍💖
she's mer-tastic an ocean beauty. 🧜
She looks amazing! I love it!
She looks stunning!❤
Since you mentioned mermaids would probably be bald so you made her a wig instead of rerooting her hair ,I tried to think up a reason why mermaids would make wigs, and my best idea was along the lines of sirens that would kill men or to keep themselves warm or to keep their skin from drying out when they were out of the water. It’s really interesting to think that all mermaids just make themselves wigs adds to the fun
I really like your idea of a wet wig just keeping their skin nice an hydrated when they are not in the water! Its kind of hilarious when you think about it!
@@josephines.creatures there is a type or hermit crab that decorates it’s shell with all kinds of things so it’s fun to think mermaids might do the same
Mermaids are considered to be of the mammal equivalent in folklore so yes the hair makes sense
I agree with this but all aquatic mammals have either no or very short and dense fur/hair to reduce drag in the water and keep them warm
hi there! love your videos. i'm curious though....what did you use to cover the hole at the top of her head, where the plastic cap used to be?
I think I just used magic sculpt, It's the same thing as two part epoxy clay 👍 I shrunk the head so it became hard so It's okey to use clay on it, it will not pop of sense the head is not soft anymore 😊
Awwwww she's adorable!!! I love her!!!!
Kah. :D siristelin kun olin näkevinäni suomea asetoni-pullossa, oli pakko käydä kurkistaan kanavan tiedoista et mistäpäin oot. Busted!! 👀 Ei oo tyypillinen suomalainen aksentti niin hämäs! 😃
Beautiful as always ❤ 💖!!!! And how does anyone dislike ur video? That ish really gets on my nerves!!!!
Luckly there isn't that many dislikes! And I do get so many lovely comments like yours, so it makes it all worth it!
She’s beautiful. At the end I noticed she was missing a nail on her right thumb. Do you make them with hot glue???
Yeah, it fall of during the photo shoot, and she has lost quite a lot more sense then :'D Next time I will add some super glue too, the hot glue on it's own doesn't stick well enough!
Blender is a free digital sculpting software 😉
I use it personally. It’s hard to learn but totally worth it
hello congratulations for the beautiful dolls you customize, by any chance you also make creations on commission?
No I'm not taking commissions 💔 sorry
@@josephines.creatures ohhh ok no problem thanks
AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL 💗❤️
I was just thinking I wonder if coating the tail in resin will work. It should but I haven’t seen anyone do it even though I hear people talk about the paint chipping when the joints are moved. Glad to see it being tried hope it catches on
I have not had any problems of the paint chipping of on the tail, so its working! The only down side is that the finish is very glossy.
@@josephines.creatures you can sand resin to make it mat but it takes a lot of time.
Beutyfull i have a idea please make Ladybug from Miraculous Ladybug
She is gorgeous
Wow beautiful
Very beautiful!
Blender has a sculpting program you can use thats both free and not too difficult to learn. Of course I will let you form your own opinions but I think thats gonna be one of the better options as its a lot like Z Brush but much cheaper.
Thank you! I only knew about Z brush and that's so expensive!
@@josephines.creatures Glad I can help!
Wow she is amazing 😻
I do three mermaids with ball jointed tails by hands, i don't have 3d printer, but another theme. Your is so beautiful like deep underwater creation
Respect for doing the tails by hand! I need to try that for my next mermaid doll! Maybe for next year!
Here from Fana's channel! Love the doll she came out so cool :D
Thank you and welcome! 💜
Dear goodness she’s gorgeous
Beautiful ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
The funny thing is.. my name is Josephine too- this is my first time watching your channel
My intro must be super fun for you!!

With gesso, you can mix in acrylic paint to color it!
Really. I didn't know that 😆
