I test fit every kit that I build.
I have been test fitting kits for over 30 years and it is very helpful in building, detailing and devising assembly sequences.

Mike I think if a person does not use the revell landing gear.the other would have to cast the landing gear in metal so that the locations pins can be made thicker.alsothere is a modeler on you tube putting this kit together will have to see how he fixes these issues.his channel is rw hobbies in case your interested and see how he might fix this issue

What about the Edward landing gear and tire set? Is it more robust that the gear oob?
