Great Video. I also really liked your video on the CB500X, and asking yourself is more really needed. I think the 901 is great, but just not sure 100hp is really needed. I hope that Honda eventually comes out with a "Halfrica" twin....and the lower CC the better. If it's an 850, fine...but 500, 600, or 750 would be plenty in my book.
Lastly, I think the 901 could use a high fender kit.

Another phenomenal review by RUclips's best motorcycle reviewer. Thank you for creating it. At first glance, this bike's fairing appears to obstruct the addition of engine guards. I, personally, cannot ride an adventure bike for hours if I cannot stretch my legs out and place them on some foot pegs that are attached to some engine guards. That requirement comes with being a geezer rider. :)

Did you end up with the T7 or the 901? I had the same concerns with reliability with the Husky.

@@josiah1583 I'm going with the T7, it's a proven bike at this point.

I am in the same boat. I'm looking at the transalp or this bike. I like the power and gadgets in the Norden but the reliability of the Honda engine just cant be beat. specially when in Canada down time is wasting a lot of riding time since we cant ride 1/2 the year. And every page I have seen so far mentions the issues KTM and Husqvarna are likely to have.

Brilliant review Ian. Loved the "I am without words" off road portion! Looks like a great bike to ride. Hate the looks unfortunately... 105HP! Wow. Nice..

Agreed, short of styling, seat, and suspension they are the exact same bike. I became a believer after fighting it for over a year and I am currently working on a few riding buddies to make the switch as well. I look forward to future content on this bike.
