OASIS - STAY YOUNG (MUSTIQUE DEMO) WITH LIAM GALLAGHER

- Last year I initially did some edits of the Mustique demos with Liam on vocals. They were very shite and out of time and I have since taken them down.
I have decided to have another go at them and here's the first one: Stay Young. Fanstatic track and a great anthem of youth. For the last chorus, I added Noel's demo vocals back in so the brothers are singing together and it really sounds joyful. I put a little video together of clips of the band over the years and some of Liam and Noels best bits.
The idea of this series will be to give a little idea of what it would of sounded like, had Liam and Noel went to Mustique together to record the Be Here Now demos.
I'm thinking of doing D'You Know What I Mean next, as Liams actual isolated vocals are available so no stem splitting required.
If you could do this with the whole Mustique album, that would be immense.
Hey thanks for watching! Yeah that's the plan. I'm going to do D'You Know What I Mean next as Liam's actual vocal stem is available so it should sound great. Doing My Big Mouth and It's Getting Better Man is going to be a nightmare because getting Liam's vocals isolated and removing all the guitar noise from the album version will be a problem. But I'll give it a go. Possibly using live vocals might be a better option?
@@supernova_2001 I Hope, I Think, I Know would be my favourite, since I think the harder sound of the demo is much better than the poppier sound they put on the album.
@@LukasOfTheLight I've being working on DYKWIM AND IHITIK and they're sounding good. Both vocals line up perfectly and for IHITIK I was thinking of leaving some of Noels vocals in since they sound great with Liam. Maybe for the last chorus to give it a boost like I did on stay young. Or would people just prefer Liam on his own? Thoughts?
@@supernova_2001 If the mix works, it works. I suppose my advice would be to just go with what sounds best and forget what people might prefer; with DYKWIM and IHITIK, just having Liam vocals on the different sound of the demo will be enough anyway, and I'm looking forward to hearing both.
