HOLY SHIT! Thank you for uploading this!! It's been a good few years now since my hardcore Oasis obsession and in all my youtubing i probably never came across a video quite like this. A performance like this so stripped down and acoustic, I think i searched long and hard to hear an acoustic version of Slide Away with LIAM singing, and here it is at this early stage when his voice could still rip. And everyone is nice and stoned of course. Noel looks hilarious, I love the joking between the 2 as well, Noel actually laughing at Liam's shenanigans. Its also an awesome indicator of how much Noel has progressed in his vocal abilities and confidence over the years. This is pure nostalgia right here, LIVE FOREVER !!!

I had a chance to watch their gig once in 2001. They were here in Bangkok and I can tell that's one of the most pleasant moment in my life,ever! I wish I could be in the gig like this, so close to them. Oasis live forever :)

Met the band at the back of The Empress Ballroom tripping out of my nut we hatched the plan as we seen LG and the band going into the ballroom so we left the gig as soon as possible and ran to the back doors I had a werewolf mask my mate had a alien mask we were running about Blackpool on E's and acid it was f****** amazing then to meet Oasis at the actual peak of our trip and there stardom just blew me away the only thing that piss me off was that I dropped my camera yous guys that are old enough will remember these things and it opened up so that was the spool ruined but I didn't think it would have been totaly ruined, I got a great shot of bonehead smiling right down the lens but it was just fantastic just to be in the company of Oasis at that time apart from Paul McGuigan it was Scott MacLeod that stood in for him then and he was shitting himself you could see in His Eyes or maybe just us staring through our big massive pupils Liam got on the bus I think the next stop was Stoke but he just got on the bus and started shouting and beeping the horn beep beep beep beep beep Oasis and that made my night even better. What a f****** buzz just 4 young lads from a very small town in Scotland I called it the champagne super Astra SRI tour. As we travelled down in an Astra SRI. Everything else was fate i wasn't meant to be there as it was originally set for 13 sept. It was when my mate said oh look there's Liam Gallagher at this point we were off our nuts on something on Drink and Es and I was like off fuck off looked out the window and my jaw nearly hit the fucking floor it was Liam Gallagher Liam flipping Gallagher wearing this exact outfit. It is quite funny really when you think about it Liam couldn't remember any words of any new songs and they sang rocking chair for the very first time and only time I think then so I would imagine this was it midnight it's so on the journey up to Blackpool on the bus LG must have had to listen to the album and read all the words because I wouldn't have thought even had time to soundcheck just an amazing night of my life and one of Britain's and the world's biggest bands at the time I was there and met them just amazing

I worked in a record store across the street from Virgin Megastore, Oxford St in '95, there so many cool live performances, promotions & special events when albums were released...
I used to go in that shop often. I was studying studio production at a college nearby and would spend my afternoons trekking round record stores in London. The Virgin store was massive, and it had everything. Far more personal than Spotify IMO
I was 19 and had just gone off the Oasis deep end in the states. Now I’m 48 and I have tickets to see them at Heaton Park Manchester next year. Godlike.
