Masturbation with pornographic materials is forbidden in Islam, but masturbation without pornography is known to God because there is no authentic hadith or verse that speaks about that "directly", but if masturbation were good, the Messenger would not have said that you should fast.

    • @IsmailKhalil-d9r
      @IsmailKhalil-d9r 6 месяцев назад +2

That is right. It is not said to be a good act especially when conducted directly with the palm of self hand. The point is what happens when ones wife is observing her period of menses'? Scholars agreed that she could use her hands, thighs but not her rectum, to relieve her husband of his tension. That is why the Quran and Hadiths were silent about it. The Prophet's (SAW) advised on fasting to keep unmarried men's eyes away from women and going for fornication, contact between two opposite genitals. Fornication and Masturbation, which one is openly called haram?

Dr. Zakir said in his first video that some scholars consider masturbation to be haram and others halal.
Mr. Uthman said that masturbation is haram but permissible only in limited, harsh conditions or circumstances.
What is the real difference between the two above? I do not see it.
In Christianity, all "scholars" agree with the Bible that Masturbation is haram. Better to follow the Bible than Islam and the Quran which appear to be confused about what is absolutely haram and people will go to hell because of it.

The very fact that in all the arguments there is no mention of sayings of the prophet saw or the book of Allah even once declaring masturbation by name of the act being haram. I don't know why didnt Allah make it clear in his book just like day and night. It is clear to me that this is a debatable topic, to which there is no clear answer from Quran or ahadeeth rather opinions of scholars.
The ayat of surah mominoon can easily be taken for a man desiring any other woman not his wife or his slave, or a woman desiring a man not her husband, or even a man desiring a man ie people of lut, but to unfortunately deduce this ayat mentions masturbation is haram is a pure biased opinion. Some times common sense is not very common. This was an untouched topic by Allah and his prophet saw, yet we find many later scholars making it a subject of haram and halal. Allah knows best. Opinions are opinions but all major sins are clear as day and night and fully detailed in Qur'an and ahadith by names of the deeds.
The cognitive bias is very clear from certain named scholars who have said such and such narration is weak therefore my opinion is masturbation is haram. Even if narration is weak does not mean your cognitive bias leads to declaring an act haram where there is no clear declaration of haram for that act in Qur'an or hadith. And that is why there are some scholars with differing opinions when it comes to masturbations, while zero scholar differs on the matter of shirk, zina, alcohol etc.
I am not endorsing the act of masturbation, however logically I can not accept that it is clear from Quran and hadith that it is haram. I'm sorry no matter how ever you argue this it is unclear and may be Allah left it on purpose like this as otherwise majority of Muslim men and women will be having trouble.
If this deed can prevent zina and other issues that arise from desire then surely it's a lesser evil for unmarried teenagers who have high hormonal desires.
Addiction to masturbation is a bad thing and no one will say it's halal. But when you are young unmarried man in today's day and age, where no one gives their daughter in marriage unless a man earns, makes is very difficult for a young man to control his desires. He/ she will either indulge in zina, pornography, or even alcohol, drugs out of that carnal desire, and on top you tell them it is haram for you to do masturbation, you will open doors of major sins for these young men/ women.
Unfortunately our scholars can be sometimes very tunneled visioned, completely disconnected with the harmful effects of not releasing desire in one way or the other.
It is not Allah and his prophet who make the Deen difficult, it is pride of certain contemporary scholars who feel they can make halal and haram as they see fit, through their own concoctions and cognitive bias. This breeds a culture of relentless authority and kills debate and differing opinions in ummah once you label something haram.some of them even lead to hatred or disdain as you have made a video trying to prove that my elders feel this is haram, so I have to make a video proving Dr zakir Naik is wrong and he is quoting unauthentic narrations( mind not from prophet saw, but opinions of sahabah).
In my humble opinion brother you are also quoting opinions of this sheikh that sheikh but ( no direct reference from the book of Allah or the act of prophet saw explicitly mentioning masturbation being haram, rather using cognitive bias in deriving meanings from Book of Allah).
In summary if something is haram Allah and his rasool will not leave it to interpretation but will make it clear, as deen was complete at the time of prophet SAW. Surely Allah's book and his prophet saw would have mentioned it very clearly if this act was haram.

    Question:-
I have a question which I am shy to ask but another sister who has come to Islam recently wants an answer to and I do not have an answer (with evidence from the Quran and Sunnah). I hope you can help and I hope Allah will forgive me if it is inappropriate but as Muslims we should never be shy in seeking knowledge. Her question was "Is it permissible in Islam to masturbate?"
May Allah increase us all in knowledge!
    Summary of answer:-
Masturbation (for both men and women) is haram (forbidden) in Islam based on evidence from the Quran and the Sunnah. See the detailed answer for 13 tips on how to give up masturbation.
    Detailed Answer:-
    Praise be to Allah.
    Is masturbation haram in Islam?
Masturbation (for both men and women) is haraam (forbidden) in Islam based on the following evidence:
Prohibition of masturbation in the Quran
Al-Imam Shafi'i stated that masturbation is forbidden based on the following verses from the Quran (interpretation of the meaning):
{And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts). Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, - for them, they are free from blame. But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors.} (Al-Muminun 23:5-7)
    Here the verses are clear in forbidding all illegal sexual acts (including masturbation) except for the wives or what their right hand possesses. {And whoever seeks beyond that is the transgressor.}
Some scholars used as evidence the ayah (in meaning),
{And let those who find not the financial means for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah enriches them of His bounty.} (Al-Nur 24:33)
This verse also clearly orders whoever does not have the financial means to marry to keep himself chaste and be patient in facing temptations (including masturbation) until Allah enriches them of His bounty.
Prohibition of masturbation in the Sunnah
'Abdullaah ibn Mas’ud said, "We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while we were young and had no wealth whatsoever. Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty (i.e. his private parts from committing illegal sexual intercourse etc.), and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power.'" (Al-Bukhari 5066)
The hadeeth orders men who are not able to marry to fast despite the hardship encountered in doing so, and not to masturbate despite the ease with which it can be done.
There is additional evidence that can be cited to support this ruling on masturbation, but due to the limited space we will not go through them here.
Tips on how to give up masturbation
As for curing/treating the habit of masturbation, we recommend the following suggestions:
    1. The motive to seek a cure for this problem should be solely following Allah's orders and fearing His punishment.
    2. A permanent and quick cure from this problem lies in marriage as soon as the person is able, as shown in the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) hadeeth.
    3. Keeping oneself busy with what is good for this world and the Hereafter is essential in breaking this habit before it becomes second nature after which it is very difficult to rid oneself of it.
    4. Lowering the gaze (from looking at forbidden things such as pictures, movies etc.) will help suppress the desire before it leads one to commit the haram (forbidden). Allah orders men and women to lower their gaze as shown in the following two verses and in the Prophet's hadith.
{Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things) and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.). That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is all-aware of what they do. And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things) and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.) ..... } (24: 30-31)
Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not follow a casual (unintentional) look (at forbidden things) with another look." (Al-Tirmidhi, 2777) This is a general instruction by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to abstain from all that may sexually excite a person because it might lead him/her to commit the haram (forbidden).
    5. Using one's available leisure time in worshipping Allah and increasing religious knowledge.
    6. Being cautious not to develop any of the medical symptoms that may result from masturbation such as weak eyesight, weak nervous system, and/or back pain. More importantly, feelings of guilt and anxiety that can be complicated by missing obligatory prayers because of the need to shower (ghusl) after every incidence of masturbation, especially in the winter, and the invalidating of the fast.
    7. Avoiding the illusion that some youth have that masturbation is permissible because it prevents them from committing illegal sexual acts such as fornication or even homosexuality, while they may not be at the gates of that immorality to begin with.
    8. Strengthening one's willpower and not surrendering to the shaytan, and avoiding spending time alone as recommended by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he said "Do not spend the night alone" Ahmad, 6919.
    9. Following the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) aforementioned hadeeth and fasting when possible, because fasting will temper one's sexual desire and keep it under control. However, one should not overreact and swear by Allah not to return to the act because if one does not honor one's promise, one would be facing the consequences of not living up to one's oath to Allah. Also, note that medication to diminish one's sexual desire is strictly prohibited because it might permanently affect one's sexual ability.
    10. Trying to follow the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) recommendation concerning the etiquette of getting ready for bed, such as reading the well-known supplications, sleeping on the right side, and avoiding sleeping on the belly (the Prophet-peace and blessings be upon him- forbade sleeping on the belly).
    11. Striving hard to be patient and chaste, because persistence will eventually, Allah willing, lead to attaining those qualities as second nature, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) explains in the following hadith:
"Whoever seeks chastity Allah will make him chaste, and whoever seeks help from none but Allah, He will help him, and whoever is patient He will make it easy for him, and no one has ever been given anything better than patience." Al-Bukhari:1469.
    12. If one falls into this sin, they must hasten to repent, asking forgiveness from Allah, doing good deeds, and not losing hope and feeling despair; these are all prerequisites to curing this problem. Note that losing hope is one of the major sins punishable by Allah.
    13. Finally, Allah is the Most Merciful and He always responds to whoever calls on Him. So, asking for Allah's forgiveness and help will be accepted, by His will.
    And Allah knows best

I dont understand the conclusion to be drawn from the ayat of surah mominoon.
When I see the videos of other scholars it seems they are right and when I watch the video of Dr Zakir Naik it seems he is right

@@kamransaleem3027 It is as clear as day and night in Surah Muminoon verses 5 to 7
      Let me quote it:
      23:5
      وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَـٰفِظُونَ ٥
And they who guard their private parts
      23:6
      إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزْوَٰجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَـٰنُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ ٦
Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed -
      23:7
      فَمَنِ ٱبْتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْعَادُونَ ٧

I am honestly confused on which is right. But when he is saying its not halal if your masterbating but your married then this is incorrect but for example my sistuation I cant be with my wife due to citizenship. What do I do fast what if this is not enough. I am fasting but I have extrem urge. Do I just get married again. There is no temporary marriage in islam. And my current fincial capabilites is one wife not 2 wives. But do I belive there is the majority of muslims who are not masturbating honestly no I dont belive this especially the ones in western countries.

The position of Dr Zakir for it is makrooh it is makrooh in the origin and that’s correct with evidences Because there are a reasonable big numbers of scholars who say it is makrooh and some say halal
Also the Hanbali school the jumhor says it is haram in “ conditions “ not in origin and the origin is makrooh and this is the problem that some people who are same us from Hanbali school they do not understand the real correct view of imam Ahmad bin Hanbl and it is actually a lock of understanding the view more that the collect of evidences and under that comment I will give a response to the most quotes that they say it is weak and I will show the truth of their quick judgement of saying they are weak when most of them there is a discussion on them it is not all of them weak
And I will show big number of who said it is makrooh and some who said it is halal and I will show quotes of the correct view of jumhor and famous people of Hanbali school that clearly showing that they are saying it is haram in conditions not on origin and it is makrooh in origin and it will show who some misunderstandings imam Ahmad bin Hanbl :

If this deed can prevent zina and other issues that arise from desire then surely it's a lesser evil for unmarried teenagers who have high hormonal desires.
Addiction to masturbation is a bad thing and no one will say it's halal. But when you are young unmarried man in today's day and age, where no one gives their daughter in marriage unless a man earns, makes is very difficult for a young man to control his desires. @Kenneth George brother peace on you. Can you point out direct prohibition of the act of masturbation by Quran or hadeeth. Rest are all opinions from scholars based on their own understandings which is why I reiterate we see difference of opinion. Agreed more scholars are of the view that masturbation is haram and they quote surah muminoon as their justification from Quran, this is just their own opinion and not a clear answer from Quran.
As far as narration of Ayesha RA, the man asked him regarding mutah marriage, when she quoted surah muminoon, a clear non biased answer from this hadith will be that mutah marriage is not allowed. Again this was a topic not discussed particularly in Qur'an or hadith in clear words.
Brother years of seeking knowledge does not mean you are always right in your assumptions. This is clearly a topic of cognitive bias and assumptions.
I understand from your talk that you rever and follow opinions of your sheikhs and as such are a muqallad.
I'm asking you to share with me direct words of quran and hadith and all you do is tell me that we follow years of studies of scholars?.
And agree blindly to what our mind agrees to ie cognitive bias.
All you need to do is show me a verse from Quran or hadith which directly prohibits the act of masturbation brother and I will agree 100 percent with you.
Again smoking I don't know whether it's khimr brother as it does not make you lose your senses like alcohol or drugs.
But yes smoking is harmful to a human health as in it can cause oropharyngeal cancers, lung cancers, COPD and harms your body and is an addictive substance. Anything which harms human body is prohibited in Islam ok be it khimr or non khimr.
Again use common sense, for which Allah made you Ashraf ul makhlukat and just tell me a verse of quran where Allah says oh believers masturbation is haram. Or a hadith in which the prophet saw says masturbation is haram. If you have this evidence I will accept it.
As far as music goes please tell sheikh usman to remove the introductory music from his RUclips videos.
As far as your mention of mutazallite, this is completely off topic, if you have doubts in sifat of Allah may he guide you, I do not doubt Allah's siffat.

Just imagine 19 years old man trying to hold it, planing to get marry after this coming ramadan. He never mastarubate or watched haram/ disgusting video. Someday he heard one of his favorite shikhs saying mastrubation is not haram. He started mastrurbating. He couldn't do it, so he decided to get "help" from haram/ disgusting video which he never watched before. After few weeks, he became addicted to mastrubation and haram/ disgusting video. He postponed his wedding. He started not praying salatul Fajr because he sleep the night time after he mastribate, and it's hard for him to wake up 5 am, take shower due to last night's mastrubation, then pray. Thanks to Dr Zakir!

Too bad that in Islam one has to listen to the "scholars" to know whether something like masturbation is haram or halal. Better to listen to one's conscience than the so called "Scholars." It appears one's conscience is more clear on what is haram and halal that Islamic "Scholars" who are totally confused (some saying it is haram, others halal, and others again, Makrooh.
In Christianity, what is haram and halal is black and white, clear as day. Masturbation is haram, period. To avoid Masturbation, and fornication in general, one ought to Marry. Period. This much more clear than the confusion in Islam on the matter.

@@robertokello5201 I gave a reply to you about the surah 5:5 contradiction you made and I still did not get a reply? You say that everything is black and white in the bible, can you explain that part that jesus even after his death paid for all of our sins? I wonder where the black is now? The black has been paid for by jesus right? This is according to your bible of contradictions, that has been changed throughout ages by your churches. Do you know that the demise of palestine and yemen is prophesied by our prophet. Look what's happening in the world now, palestine is taken off the map and a famine is happening in Yemen with almost 30 million deaths in the last 10 years. This is all prophesied 1400 years ago, robert stop beating around the bush and come inside it. The truth is infront of you, you know that you want to say yes, but it's hard to take that step. When you let go of bias and prejudice, I am sure you will find a place in islam.

@@khurramjaved7301 In part, Surah 5:5 says, "..and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you..." "Those given the Scriptures before you" means the Jews and the Christians.
But Surah 5:51says, "O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies (friends in other translations). They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them."
So can you tell me why the Quran says Muslims should marry Jews and Christians and then say, that Muslims should not take them for Allies or friends? How can one marry some he cannot be friends or allies with? Does this contradiction make any sense to you?
Surah 4:82 says, "If it had been from [any] other than Allah , they would have found within it much contradiction."
The contradiction of Surah 5:5 by Surah 5:51, means that the Quran is not from God. And there are many more contradictions like this in the Quran. The Quran is a self-defeating mess! Indeed, it is a book of "revelations" given to an illiterate man. It appears that in the morning Muhammad had something written, changed his mind in the evening and had something contradicting the morning "revelation" written.
Read your Quran in a detailed a serious manner and you are learned in logic, you will too many of this contradictions. Talk to me when you have done that.

And [lawful in marriage are] chaste women from among the believers and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you, when you have given them their due compensation, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse or taking [secret] lovers. And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers."
      (QS. Al-Maaida 5: Verse 5)
Can you read the full verse properly mister illiterate. It says at the end "whoever denies the faith, his work has become worthless and he will hereafter be among the losers" meaning that whoever you are trying to marry has to accept islam and if he/she does not, than he/she will be among the losers. You send 75% of the verse and ignoring the other 25% shows that there was no contradiction. The other point you mentioned, it's talking about out prophets, who were given the scriptures such as Jesus, moses, and david. It is not talking about christians or jewish. Please use a little ounce of your symbolic illiterate brain. Can you find anymore contradictions? Cause you did not find any yet sir?
