I rented a Forte and loved it. Sold my RAV 4 and bought a 24 LXS. I'm 6'3" and it has plenty of room. Gas mileage is awesome. I always average over 47mpg.
I ended up getting one of these (not sure if it was 2023 or 2024) for a 2 day car rental trip. I was VERY impressed with the safety features on the dashboard. It would even tell you if a car was moving forward (if you were waiting behind a car at the light or drive thru). As you said the car is very quiet where I wasn't even sure if it was on idle sometimes. And yes, the trunk space was HUGE! For 20k, and being the cheapest car on the market nowadays, and for the features you get, I definitely think it's a good buy. And although they did fix the issue with them being easily stolen, Im just not sure high how your insurance rate would be...
I bought one a week ago, have state farm insurance and the insurance in my area was very reasonable. So far I love this car. I'm in my 80's and of all the cars I have purchased over my life, this one is the best buy I have made. I still have the dealer fill-up gasoline, about 1/3 tank left, have driven about 180 miles. I do wiish that it had the adaptive cruise control, that is the only think I am missing. Adaptive cruise control is a life saver in heavy stop and go traffic, when I drive my Honda. Other than that niggle, The car is perfect for me.
But it sucks when it won't open in ignition. Hassle to reach down when your disabled. Any other way to open without key like when ya hands semi full. Ya know
I enjoyed watching your video. We just bought a 2024 Kia Forte the same model you were showing. We like it but actuator for driver’s window quit working so it’s in the shop. I think you get what you pay for but the car only has 1400 miles on it. I also wish we had a push button starter on the car. Thanks for making the video.
I have a brand new 2023, i am 19 this is the perfect starter car for me! Amazing gas and its just safe and perfect, i actually was involved in a non-fault minor accident and i felt safe.
@@staychill8969 not going to lie man u could of gotten a 2024 or 2023 for same price maybe even less for a new 2023 on sale! I actually like the 2021s though
Just helped a friend at work get a new 2024 Forte LXS w/Technology package. I negotiated it down to $20,400 OTD (all taxes/fees/DOC fee, etc). Its a great vehicle for the price
The GT is a performance trim with a turbo, better suspension, body trim and other features. The GT-Line has the GT styling with out the turbo. So yes the more you spend the more features you will get but the LXS is probably the best value vehicle. Lower price and good standard features
Thank you! And shoot my bad. I actually try to say my height in most videos and forgot it in this one. I'm 5'8 so not the tallest. Hopefully that helps ☺️
I search Forte Canada because the trims are different between the US and Canada just like with the Elantra and what's the first vid RUclips shows me? Murica!
America!!!! I actually didn't know there was different models from America to Canada. Thank you for the comment. Hope you enjoyed the video and I'm now off to watch a Canada kia video
The Kia Forte LXS msrp is about $20,490 plus freight is about $21,500 but they wanted $27,000 at the dealership in Hilton Head, South Carolina, they have $5,500 in bogus fees and markups, it is not an affordable cheap car, it cost the same as a Honda Civic, so I went and bought a Honda Civic Sport 2024, The Forte is a good car, don't get me wrong but if it cost the same as a Civic, I won't buy it. It is like the difference between iPhone and Android, the brand. The Civic is much more car with a big resale value compared to the Forte.
Don't know if he mentioned it or not but I do believe my 2024 Kia Forte LXS has a wireless charger for your phone. I have to say unless I have a problem with mine I don't like that when you put it in reverse that the music cuts out but other than that I do like my Deep Ocean Blue Kia Forte LXS....
I just got mine and I don’t know where a wireless charger would be except the rectangular space above the usb ports, where is it? Because that did not work. Yes I checked, i have the same trim as in this video.
I purchased mine In December and so far I like it.

You can also open the trunk with a button on the key.

Thank you for reviewing affordable cars! Please review a 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage and a base 2024 Corolla LE if possible!
Going to most likely purchase this one tomorrow

I want to know if you can permanently turn off the driver attention monitor.
Very popular car. I see quite a few in my neighborhood.
No spare tires??
I’m thinking of getting one tomorrow $300 lease 48 months and who knows maybe ultimately keeping it. Or is the Gt better
