it depends who you kill, whether or not you are badass or not. You can kill 100 ISIS fighters, murder an old man on purpose or something like that, those 100 ISIS kills are meaningless to most people.

Kevin does such a great job at breaking things down and simplifying them without over explaining. Something as simple as Andy asking him where he grew up, he could have just said the town or the area of the country but he paints a picture in your head so you know exactly where. Now its all politics and mandatory classes to prevent stuff. We had a guy while in division that got brought in on a DUI. My squad leader went and picked him up with an 80lb ruck and they road marched all night back to the barracks. I went in as 11X as well, but I made sure I had airborne school in my contract. I eded up as 11B and was so thankful I did not end up 11M!

I did a left seat where the TC had the gunner absolutely afraid to fire on anyone no matter what. This was a great show. I only know about Kevin because of mike glover which is why I watched it. I don't usually watch podcasts of people I'm not familiar with but when I learned that Kevin and Mike fought together I just had to watch it. Also I am a huge fan of andys as well and now I am a fan of Kevin's and will be watching more of his content now

The podcasts I enjoy the most are the cross-service interviews.
Where either an Army SOF guy interviews Navy SOF. Or the opposite, Navy SOF host talking to Army.
Always seem to lead to the most interesting conversations

ROE in Iraq was different for us as regular Infantry in 2005. We were very free on ROE. I talked to guys that went back in 2008 and then 2010 and they said the ROE got more and more restricted every rotation.

DAMN two of my favourite people, Andy when you see Kev again tell him Ireland needs him over here to teach classes as I don't think they're available to foreigners in America. Great job both of you thoroughly enjoyed this chat, all the best for 2022 men.

Only one tattoo. He's mentioned on other videos that he doesn't like to go around "looking like an army guy". His modesty is refreshing. Comes very close to embodying the gray man approach to moving through the civilian world, and I like that. I like that he doesn't wear his hat backwards which, frankly, Andy Stumpf, has looked stupid on everyone who has done it for the past 40 years. Love your podcast though. It's one of the best.

I don’t know what MP unit that was but I’m a MP and no one ever got close to us even when JAG told us that we had to allow them to pass. I deployed OIF 07-09 to Baqubah, FOB Warhorse. Our SOPs were lights, siren, pen flare, warning shot in front/ side of vehicle, warning shot to hood of vehicle, eliminate the threat. I know the ROE in 09 change drastically to you had to aspires vehicles to pass out you had pull over and sue
