    How much is the Eidon?

never mention prices, as they vary between countries depending on the distributor. For instance, when we bought Eidon in 2019 for the price of one California, you could purchase ~5 Eidons.

I find his video not very serious when talking about the quality of the images where he shows good shots of Eidon and very bad shots of Optos.
It would be more professional and objective if both images were good or if it showed the image quality of two bad photos.

Thanks for watching, I appreciate your perspective. Eidon is a confocal system, which naturally produces higher-quality photos due to its design. However, this comes at the cost of a reduced field of view and the inability to capture deeper structures like nevi effectively. Additionally, the Eidon is much easier to use in automatic mode, allowing operators to assist patients by holding their eyelids if needed. In contrast, the Optos can be more challenging for patients, possibly contributing to poorer photo quality.
It's also important to note that these devices are designed for different purposes. We use both in our practice because they complement each other-Optos for its wide field of view and Eidon for its image clarity. My observations are based on my experience with the Optos (California model) since 2015 and the Eidon since 2017. That said, I strive to provide balanced and informative content, and I’ll keep your suggestions in mind for future videos. Thanks again for watching and sharing your thoughts! I will soon be posting a review of Silverstone so stay tuned!
