How do I get a digital speedometer instead of "average speed" which makes no sense?
Totally agree!!! The layout of speed should be an option. The speedometer is over in the right side and hard to read while driving
I wish it told you info about the car like oil level and tire pressure. I just test drove a Chevy Cruze and it had those features on the screen

Hello, we have the same car. About 2 days ago my master warning light came on this is color yellow. It only comes on while the car is off with key out and driver door open with a loud buzzing sound? Hey Zac, my rear camera lines don't really match where my car actually is. The blue one on the driver's side shows I am over the curb, but when I open my door I am easily 18 inches away from the curb. This isn't a problem on the passenger side. Is there a way to adjust this or is this how the rear camera is for the 2017 Corolla?

Pressing the DISP button on the steering wheel will toggle you through 5 or 6 pages on the screen behind the wheel. When you get to "Meter Settings", press AND HOLD the "DISP" button. This will enter you into the sub menu where you can changes these types of settings. continue to press the DISP button will toggle. Press AND HOLD the DISP button will select the current item.

Language
ECO
Exit
I have 2017 accidentally I pressed the display button and I don’t know how to go back to having mph digital on the screen
The DISP button is pressed to toggle through 5 or 6 pages of information. To enter into a subscreen, press AND HOLD the DISP button. The Meter Settings page is where you can enter into a subscreen to change the unit system.
Can we view the actual speed instead of average speed?
Blended Insight I hate average speed lol the 2020 Corollas have them and its cool and tells you the speed limit too wish 17-19 ones had them

At 1:12 in the video "Meter Settings" are shown. To get to this screen, press the "DISP" button on the wheel. One on this screen, press and hold the "DISP" to enter the sub-menu. From here you toggle between setting by pressing DISP and select by pressing and holding DISP. Hope this helps.
Can the average speed be changed to actual speed? Also, how can I can the speed to be shown in km... instead of mph?
Hi Nick, You can toggle through all of the display options by pressing the "DISP" button on the steering wheel. To change settings, toggle until you have the settings display showing. Then press AND hold the "DISP" button. This is the way you select. When you go into sub-menu options, press and hold this button again to select. Pressing without holding will toggle you through the various selection options.

I have a 2019 corolla LE, just pretty much like the one in this video. What does the pre-collision button on the steering wheel do (the one just to the right of the LDA button)? I can't find in my owners manual what it does. Does hitting that button change the warning timing for the pre-collision system? Or is the timing for that only controlled by pressing and holding the display button in the settings as you basically showed in the video?

I could see why not. Also, the vehicles are configured based on the market you are in: Canada or US.
just finished at toyota where I got an oil change and other maintenance because the "maintenance required"warning was lit up on the dash. I noticed this morning, despite all the maintenance, the message was still lit up.....took the car back, and, of course, no charge to turn the warning off....n'ow as I drive away.....AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG!!!!....the display is now showing average speed....I'm doing 70 and it says 25.....I'm thinking, I gotta get rid of this shit!.....anyway, you video did the trick. THANKS!

Toggle through the display and the MPH should be there
If that doesn't work, the cruise control has your set speed
push the DISP button on the steering wheel. It wil toggle you through different menu options. If your units are wrong, go into the setting (by pushing & holding the DISP button), and select your prefered units.

How do I turn eco off
It more of an eco indicator rather than a drive mode. The green leaf eco light comes on in the dash when the driver is driving efficiently. You can disable it in the settings

Hi Cathy, if you scan left/right until you get to the 1st menu option ( fuel rating, range, etc), then scroll up/down. There is an option of a blank screen.
