I wish I could change the screen to display the mph digitally, I hate the mph gage all the way on the right.

Gonna be changing my cluster from the 17’ Le 3.5in to the 17’ SE 4.2in
sway warning to see if your cup of tea would spill! hahahahhaaaa... the coffee cup icon and bars will light up after a period of time to tell you to take a break and remain alert, like drink a cup of coffee, soda, etc. The sway warning or lane keep assist has nothing to do with the coffee cup icon.
Hi Jay Sauer, The first time I saw the coffee cup icon I thought the same thing. Its a Sway Warning indicator to alert customers that are getting drowsy. Lane Departure Alert (LDA) is a different alert. Its mean to notify the drive that they are inadvertently leaving their lane and can lightly steer the car back into your proper lane. @@ZacDrives Zac, and you know the first time I saw that coffee cup icon, i thought the same thing until more reviews were done. Honestly, i'll bet a lot of people will think the same thing at first. Appreciate your review. I got a 2018 XSE and i love the car!

I used to be able to see how many miles I had left fo empty. How do I look at that ? It randomly went away

Hi Dasja and Allana, to see your range (distance to empty), use the left/right arrows on the steering wheel to toggel to the information screen (denoted with a lower case italisized 'i'). then scroll up or down until you get to the range screen. This is shown at 1:52 of this video. If your units are wrong (ie km instead of mi) then you can change them in the setting screen. I actually just posted a new video showing how to do this.

Is it ok if the odo display is lit when the car is not running?
If you press the push button start button (and your foot is not on the brake pedal) you will turn on the screens, but not the engine. It's like inserting a traditional key and turning to the accs position (not the run position). To turn off, press the push start a 2nd time (again with foot off brake) will now turn on the heating or A/C. Pressing a 3rd time (with foot off brake) will turn all off.

I don't believe the Corolla in 2017 has a digital speedometer option.

Hi Rodzilla 2411, Thank you for your question. This video was shot for the Canadian market where the main speed units used on the speedometer are in kilometers per hour (km/h). The highest marking on the speedomter is actually 240km/h.

The dashboard brightness? If that’s what you’re talking about then their should be a wheel you can spin up or down to the left of your steering wheel with the picture of a speedometer and a light bulb. :)
@@SaVaGeGiiRL my car is not US market corolla to have that wheel to spin. on a canadian version there is no any wheel for a dashboard brightness

Just purchased a 2017 SE 2 weeks ago. For A to B cars it's a nice car. My only complaint is the Intune. I wish it came with Apple car play and Android auto otherwise good car.
Entune audio is just digital radio nothing more, the 4 inch display screen is out of the 1990s. Not much thought or tech was put into it. Some of the safety features felt gimmicky also, “ it’s not a numb steering wheel feeling that’s lane departure assist.” Lol.

I believe it'd for notifictions, for example, "time for an oil change."
