I have about 10 total - 5-9 inch yellow bullheads and about 6 or 7 4-5 inch green sunfish in a 60 gallon plenty of room and all real wood aquascape. Also 2 6+ inch plecos
Yes there is always that change when putting in a partner with bullheads that they will eat their partner . They eat pretty much anything that fits in their mouth. Not exactly sure why just know they will. 😂
Maybe add some plants would give some life to it

Me the whole time FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT I have a brown bullhead and last time I put a large mouth bass with em the bass got eaten
