About Paige:
My name is Paige Neumeyer. I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in dementia care consultation. I recently started my own business, Aging Mind Care to help support those living with dementia and their caregivers.
I have over 20 years of experience working in various healthcare settings, including hospice, Social Services Director in a Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Community, as an Aging Life Care Manager, and as a Counselor in senior care communities. Working in these settings, I began to see the impact of aging, particularly cognitive changes, and how this can greatly impact everyday life, not only for the individual but also for their loved ones caring for them. I had a desire to learn more about dementia and how to provide effective care to improve the quality of life for all involved. I became certified as a dementia care Consultant and Trainer under Teepa Snow, national educator and founder of Positive Approach to Care. I am also a Certified Dementia Practitioner through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. I currently volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association as a Community Educator and also lead a monthly support group, called Common Ground through Care Partners Houston.
