    Nice job Jason. Love watching these videos. Learn so much and it's good to see the different methods between different tutors. Only just started wood turning and see now how people get hooked.

    I very much enjoy these tutorials, Jason, yours and Colwin's. Things that are not bowls, candlesticks or tool handles add interest and variety to woodturning.

    I don't know if there is any truth to this, but I've heard that many sources of fruit woods should not be used for toys or considered to be food safe because of the high levels of pesticides they contain from commercial orchards and many home trees. The same goes for many trees growing in lawn areas because of the lawn chemicals applied to the grass. Does anyone any actual scientific data on this topic?
