Great review as a Canadian customer waiting for over a year since we paid the $1K deposit to be on the reservation list. I am glad I can get a Canadian review for the same platform we ordered (Platinum+ E-4orce). Thanks for letting us know that Pro Pilot 2.0 is not available yet for Canadian drivers, no other reviews have ever mentioned that before and I have watched hundreds since February 2022 😂. Cheers and great job again.

I have the same feelings but am wondering about the hardware - is it installed in Canadian vehicles or is it not present? When it opens up will we get access to it?

So we have our 2023 Ariya for one year now and even drove from Ontario to Florida on a EV road trip!! It was a good learning experience, but would have been better had we have access to Pro Pilot 2.0 for the longer HWY driving. There is no 2nd shark fin or eye monitoring sensors on the steering column. I don’t see Nissan enabling it via OTA software updates 😢. I was really looking forward to using this option. Still a great EV!

I love that Nissan finally has an option that isn't a Leaf with it's outdated CHAdeMO tech. Impressive how those batteries lasted 10+ years with no active cooling. These modern batteries will last decades. I look forward to seeing these on the road instead of dirty gas guzzlers.

Hmm,,, According to many other tests, the charging curve is catastrophic, and peak value 130 kW never reached !
It’s a slow charger even with battery preheating activated :(

@@steffenjensen9350 plug it in overnight. That will be more than enough for most people. If you're that rare person who is driving more than 250/day frequently, don't even bother with an EV yet. Wait for solid state.

Matt ,,, I canceled my preorder on Ariya and is now in a Ioniq 5 73 kwh Advanced, for several reasons ;)

When is 2.0 coming to Canada?

Wait a minute. The Canadian comes with 1 antenna, so we will never get pro pilot 2.0? The platinum is not eligible for subsidies? Would you get this instead of your ionic 5? Please answer and clarify. Thanks

If it does not have the issues the Ioniq5 has it will sell well. i5 ICCU failures, overheating whilst charging, going dead while driving, NO HEAT/NO AC, poorly designed hardware modules.

The interior and body make a Tesla look like amateur hour.

There aren’t too many SUV's that get my attention but this one is beautiful, especially with those 20 inch wheels. I’m so glad Nissan is starting to think out of the box in style and features. My only wish is that it had about 20 percent more range. Other than that it’s a winner.

I’m pretty impressed with it. Really looking forward to spending more than a day with it.

The only Nissan that I've ever wanted to buy in the last 20 years or so years minus the GT-R and Z.
I'm looking to getting an EV later this year or early next year. This will be on my list but I'm really hoping for a revised ioniq 5. If that has an opening pano and rear wiper it will be a done deal.

This is an expensive car but I think I could maybe go for the Engage + eforce as it has almost everything I want for almost $10,000 less than the top trim.
