- It is one of the closest most laid-back beach towns in Bangkok. How do people really like it? What can people expect when they are visiting Cha Am, Thailand?
This is filmed around the main beach of Cha Am Thailand; maps.app.goo.gl/SPqDeFqVgpN8V...

Great bunch of people , so diverse - Cha Am needs more time from me - Appreciate your views & videos of here - Thanks No.1 😃✔️😎👍👋🙏
Pretty cool little town we can see just but talking to some people here :) have fun in the sun 😎🏆
Great interviews! Cha Am looks like a place to settle down after you've been to everywhere and have done everything. I can see why elderly people prefer it. I wish i'll enjoy life like Jenny (the lady at the end) does when i come to that age and have such a peaceful retirement. Cha Am looks like an ideal place to do that.
Ey Göker! Aw yes I think so too 😊 it’s very nice and chill, not much to do but very comfortable and quiet small. I wouldn’t mind retire here at some day in the future myself too! Thanks again 🏆
@@Chai_Travelgood video well done are you going to bang saray from Scott new Zealand
Great interviews Chai. Not really a tourist destination on the must go to bucket list like all the other popular well known haunts BUT very popular with the Thais to visit on the weekends as I found when visiting the wife's family years back on their farm. It was their choice of beach to go to from Lukkae which is mid way between Bangkok and Kanchanaburi 143 km away from Cha am and a 2 hour drive. We drove there early Sunday and had a fantastic day of swimming using big rubber tyre tubes and also sat under those masses of beach canopies feasting on so much seafood and whatever else was happening. Brilliant day out very much recommended!! Cheers champ 🤩
That’s so sweet 😍 Nakhon Pathom where my family lives is also 2hours away from the beach (they drove here). Such a laidback town and very affordable great seafood 🤤 thanks Steven
Good choice of people to interview and questions on point. And nice a finish with your fellow Dutch countrywoman Chai 👍
Ey Dave! Cheers mate. Great to meet such lovely people 😁 Thanks for watching again
Cha am is a great place to relax. Always, take care!
Cheers mate 😁 thanks for watching again
Always relaxed in cha am not much going on but it's what we like busy at weekends good interviews ❤
Thanks 🏆
I visited Cha am approximately 30 years ago and loved it. It was extremely quiet then, really just a wee village.
I had a three week holiday there weeks and I found it nice bars are nice and I met some young people the food is cheaper accommodation is cheaper and the people seem friendly I could stay here for at least three months per year
Nice one mate. Haha yeah I’d see myself living here a good part of the year too 😎🏆 cheers
Beautiful beach, nice interviews.
Thank you 😁
@@Chai_Travel 😀
Cha am is a good place to be
Nice ! I've never heard of the place, but definitely worth a visit for a older guy like me.
Haha 😝 It's so laidback I'm sure you'd love it! Hua Hin is also a nice beach town/city (Bit busier but still not so full on). Thanks again 🏆 Groetjes!
Very interesting. I will try to ckeckout ChaAm again my next holidays. Went there already two times (long time ago and last month), and my next holidays (autumn), I will checkout condo rentals (2 months) and guesthouses prices. Kind of beach holidays + monthly rentals survey ;-)
Nice! I am sure you’ll have the best time :)
Cha am beach and Bang san beach are similar. It's in different regions in Thailand. Cha Am beach near hua hin but Bang san beach near Pattaya. Both cheaper and convenient for relaxing 😎
Wonderful place
It really is 😁
Nice interview with the Dutch Lady. 😉🙏
She’s so lovely 🥰
Great job. Thank you.
Thank you 😁
You’re most welcome Chai. Congratulations on your success and happiness - all due to your perseverance and luck in finding a good partner. I’ve been following you for a while and you’ve adjusted well to your hobby/work. I think it’s great that you let people talk and that you don’t step on what they’re saying by interrupting them. An interviewer what comment is important to a viewer…it could be the smallest thing. So, great format/schema you’ve chosen and I believe that it’s positively different from other formats that people choose for their channels. Thank you for demonstrating perseverance and for showing that anything we do repeatedly with an eye towards improvement we get better at. I’m also a longtime solo traveler based in Chiang Mai when I’m in Thailand. Let me know when you’re there again if you wish. All the best to you and to your new family.
That’s so lovely to receive mate. Thanks for showing your appreciation this way 🙏 Chiang Mai is such a nice place to settle down for a long while 😍 stay in touch
Hi!Champ🏆.I've been to Cha am beach many times it's better than Bang San beach, quieter, more beautiful and uncrowded but further than Bang san beach from BKK.It's famous and popular for Thai as well.safe travel.❤🏄🌊🏖️😎
Thanks :) yes indeed. I like the town Bang Saen but the beach is definitely more appealing in Cha Am. Thanks for watching again ⛱️🏆
I was first there back in 2003 and it’s one of those places that thankfully hasn’t changed much since back then. (Great exchange rate back then also 77 baht to 1 GBP) 😎
Wow, that’s an amazing rate. Times has changed 😅
Soi bus stop has about 40 bars ..check em out..cha am..
My wife is from Suphanburi, Cha Am is my mother-in-laws favourite sea-side town, so we went there with the family one weekend 10 years ago. We travelled to various beach towns over the next 10 years, but still kept going back to Cha Am, we were looking for somewhere to set up our retirement home, so we bought land in Cha Am. Love the chilled out vibe of the place, we find the food a little too sweet, but same can be said with Hua Hin, which is a place thats nice to visit, but not to live.
Nice one :) thanks for sharing your thoughts 😁 also for watching
Good video thank you. I have been going to Hua Hin for twenty years never stayed in Cha Am. How bad is that ? Will give it a look.
Haha nothing bad about it ;) but it’s about time! Cheers 🍻
Well done good video are you going to bang saray from Scott new Zealand
Hey mate, thanks! Not on this trip :)
Cha Am is nowhere near Bangkok, its around 140 miles away so no idea why its in the video title? 😯🤔🤔
Where did you get the distance from, it's not that far,,bkk to ch am, is about 110miles,little over 2hours in the car,, bus about 3hours, train about 4hours, about to get faster,,
@@phillipfairbrass3575 I did say 'around' without using Google. It's still well over 100 miles so nowhere near Bangkok. All of the many beaches of Chonburi almost to Rayong are closer. 😯👍
It’s only a few hours drive :) One of the nicer beaches if not the nicest and closest to Bangkok. Sorry if you find this title misleading 🙏
This is far? So funny. I've come back from a beach I want to go 1400 km away. Straight 19-hour drive. 🤪
Ive been in cha am, it was great.
Nice! It’s a calm beach town 😎
Yes
I❤ Cha am
