  • Hello everyone and either welcome back or welcome to my channel.
    This as you can see is my camper build where I plan to vlog and document the hole conversion from start to finish as a DIY camper build in the hope that it will inspire and show other that's its possible to do yourself and even enjoy your life and the build along the way.
    Please feel free to comment with any criticism or tips as this is an open channel and everyones ideas are valid and considered.
    I am really excited about this build and are really looking forward to getting started and watching my much loved van change bit by bit into a bus.
    Thanks for watching I hope you enjoy my journey.
    I post all of my photos I take on my Instagram so feel free to follow if that's something you would like to see.

    The problem with buying one that's been built by an amateur is you either spend weeks fixing their mistakes or have it fall apart on you. I think you have the right idea just taking your time and making sure it's done right.

      Yeah I agree mate. I used to work on many track / fast road cars back in the day 😝 and that was the same story. Not everyone does a bad job but some people are very skilled at doing things wrong

    Great videos buddy. I’m looking to buy a T5 right now. Looking at a few battered panel vans which would be a big project. I will be referring to your videos. I’m in Telford so can look to use some of the same places you use.

    Hey dude on t5/t6 the bottom part of the bulkhead fixing what is red on your van needs grinding out as it is spot welded in place. Some must have removed the bulkhead at one point and then put it back in at a later date probably why it’s red. Looking forward to seeing how your build goes

      Hey Ryan, thank you so much for your comment. I did think this but took the comment out the video as I was unsure and didn’t want to give false information. Very helpful from yourself though. Very much appreciated 🙏

    I've almost finished my build and I swear, that bulkhead frame where's it's welded in along the bottom is the worst job of the whole build.

    • @JaysFabShop
      @JaysFabShop  5 лет назад

      Aw awesome matey well done. Yeah I got away with mine to be fair. Very lucky

    • @TravelJay23
      @TravelJay23 5 лет назад +1

      Ahh I see in your latest vid of you taking out the headliner that your bulkhead frame is still in ya van. I think you might of misunderstood my last comment. Keep up the good work tho 👍🏼

    • @JaysFabShop
      @JaysFabShop  5 лет назад +1

      Hey matey. I was really lucky to be honest my bottom part of the bulkhead was sealed down with some really strong stuff and also had a few bolts in. A couple of these videos I are filing at the same time yousee so that’s why it was still in. Totally removed now though
